As Mac machines become more prevalent in the digital market, there come the inevitability of malicious code being developed to attack the OSX users.  In big news out of Norway, a very active and aggressive service has hacked the carrier Telenor, and have even planted spyware on a Mac belonging to an Angolan activist.

Research conducted by the security firm Norman found the spyware has been developed by a group that has been active for 4 years,  all coming from a group of Indian hackers.

With around 800 samples of the malware found, the data is being analyzed by Noway's National Security Authority, NorCERT.  The samples were all collected after Telenor announced their security had been compromise and Norman stepped in to investigate.  The attacked came through combined phishing emails and malware all developed by multiple parties.
