 Does Webroot Essentials protect me from viruses, Please clarify for me. Thanks.

Our 2012 version of Webroot Secure Anywhere includes Antivirus protection with all level of software. There is not any software which doesn't have Antivirus part. We used to have Spy Sweeper in previous version which is the only one software didn't have Antivirus. So, coming to the point that Webroot Essentials does include Antivirus with System cleaner as well as Firewall.

I'm not having any problems ......a friend is looking for protection software and he has malware issues and i wasnt sure if essentials protected against malware

In such case, if your friend already has Webroot installed, have him to send ticket via link which I posted in last message. If he doesn't have the software, he can definitely purchase the software to get rid of the virus. If any issue remains after he install the software, he can always contact our support team.
