False virus infection pop-up messages

I replaced Norton with Webroot. Now whenever I’m online in Microsoft I get false pop-ups that indicate that I -1 have active virus infections and must reinstall Norton ASAP. I’ve run many webroot re views and all are fine. I’m working on a 3-year old HP and in Windows 10. I’ve tired cookie deletes and pop-up blocks to no avail. How can I stop these annoying messages?

Hello @Philip Alderson  Welcome to the Webroot Community Forum.

I would recommend calling ( Landline ) Webroot Support and they can do a remote on your computer. Support can safely remove Norton from your computer. I WOULD NOT try the Norton Removal Tool. From past experience myself the Norton Removal Tool may remove more than Norton Files from your computer.

Webroot Support:

Submit a ticket

Call 1-866-612-4227

Note: When submitting a Support Ticket, Please wait for a response from Support. Putting in another Support Ticket on this problem before Support responses will put your first Support Ticket at the end of the queue.

HTH,

Dave

May I ask, What is the charge for a remote?
