Hi jfigue6631

Welcome to the Community Forums.

There have been reports of some users having printer issues re. WIndows 10. Please see the infomration provided on this Microsoft Support page...it should help in identifying & hopefully resolving the issue you are having using the Troubleshooter referenced on the page.

You may want to check in the Devices section to check if your printer is listed.............Start/Settings/Devices/ ....if not listed, scroll down on that page and open/Devices and Printers/......if not listed there, try to use the feature/Add a Printer.
Let us know how you make out or if you require more assistance.

Hi jfigue6631

When you say "certain files" what file type are you referring to?
