Yesterday I tried to install my webroot I got with a new computer from best buy. I got an error message that said code was correct but something was preventing webroot from installing … gave me a number to call. I called number and speak to tech, he says that my settings in my network were set to public and i had 31 devices connecting. He had me click on the support box on the webroot screen and I allowed him access to computer to fix the problem. It was my understanding this was a webroot tech… but when he was done and my webroot was installed he wanted to sell me this firewall protection and lifetime webroot subscription and that he worked for a company that was called Tekwire. Said I didn’t have to pay anything right now and am supposed to decide today? I have no idea what is happening. Anyone heard of this ?

Different schedule capability for Deep Scan vs Quick Scan
What is the status on adding this feature? That is, being able to at least somewhat set a combination of Deep/Full vs Quick scan schedules. I’d simply like to run a Deep/Full maybe once a week and Quick everyday. Can’t do that now unless I’ve missed it. I have a Mac with a slow HD and Deep takes 3 hours. Though Deep/Full runs very much quicker on my wife’s with an SSD, even though both Mac mini’s are years old.Below is info from a similar question/request from about 2 years ago. Both Deep and Quick scan schedules

Can i access an older version of webroot as i still have a 1 year Webroot subscription to use
How do I clear NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID that's coming up for my printer's URL?
I’m using Google Chrome web browser and when I input my HP printer URL in order to enable web services, I get the NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID saying the site is not secure. Where do I go to allow this site or to tag it as safe?
Webroot Threat Shield Only Shows Spinning Circles After Firefox Update to V.83
I have Windows 10 Home and use Firefox browser which recently update to V.83. I use Webroot (WSA) version 126.96.36.199. Now when I do a search, only spinning circles appear next to each search result (no green check marks, etc.). The Webroot icon still appears on my computer and when I checked my Firefox add-ons, it says Webroot Threat Shield is enabled. I disabled it, then re-enabled, then restarted my computer, but this did not help. Is there a glitch due to the new Firefox update? Anyone else having this issue? What can I do to fix this? - Nancy
I do not receive App start up window after downloading and installing app on MacOS 11.0.1
I have installed the app many time but now can install on 1 iMAC machine. On trying to open app, no window appears to allow for next steps. I have checked for hidden windows and there are none. I do have a “?” in the Webroot app Icon in the Dock.
Does anyone have suggestions for an email provider that is easy to use, will transfer my existing stuff and is secure. Free would be nice too if there is such a thing. I am presently using Eudora and it has started doing odd things on in coming mail. Thought maybe a new one would resolve the issues. Thank you for your thoughts
How can I delete my account?
I want out of this community, I want whomever it is in their finite mental capacity, that is continually sending me these insane badge notifications to cease and desist or there will be repercussions. I deleted this crappy program from my computer a long time ago and I want nothing to do with a community which labels my responce ( as vulgar when I used no vulgarity whatsoever, yet the person who slammed my post was not ) to someone calling my posts as shady, underhanded and or hiding something which was NEVER the case.
