I have Windows 10 Home and use Firefox browser which recently update to V.83. I use Webroot (WSA) version 184.108.40.206. Now when I do a search, only spinning circles appear next to each search result (no green check marks, etc.). The Webroot icon still appears on my computer and when I checked my Firefox add-ons, it says Webroot Threat Shield is enabled. I disabled it, then re-enabled, then restarted my computer, but this did not help. Is there a glitch due to the new Firefox update? Anyone else having this issue? What can I do to fix this? - Nancy
Several of my friends that I have turned on to Webroot, are questioning the nag screen on the Application, regarding Allstate. Is this being offered to all Webroot customers or in the United States only? Also there are different costs being advertised. One at $19.95, another at $23.99?Thanx much,
Ever since April 1 when I renewed my subscription this app has not functioned properly. Initially it was burning through battery life. The last update seemed to fix that. However, the phone never seemed to scan. If I initiate a scan, it completes in seconds. As of today - the message bar indicates it has been 25 days. For the Last several week the WR Mobile Security App is indicated as the 3rd highest user of battery life (even though it is not running). Today I updated my Ring App. Usually after updating an app, Webroot would scan and a message would be posted that "No Problems detected". Did not get that. Went to the Google App store to see if the WR Secure Anywhere app had an update. There is no Webroot Security App only the Webroot Browser App and the VPN APP (both are on my phone). But the WR Mobile Security App is GONE - not listed as an app loaded on my phone!! There is no WR Mobile Security App to reload for Google Play Store. Also having issues with LONG scans on my Widows 7
I cannot login to my Webroot account. The login screen accepts my email and password but then requests an Authentication Code which results in an error: “Invalid Authentication Code”. I try again and select: “Fogotten Password” Then select: “I forgot my Security Code” I enter my email address I answer the security question I receive an email giving a link to reset my security code: I enter a new security code Repeat the new security code Receive the following message Your change has been applied. You can now login. I select the “log in” link. I repeat the process but still receive the error: “Invalid Authentication Code”. I have repeated this process multiple times. I tried to send a message to Webroot Support, but you are required to Log In to do so I have purchased a new Laptop and want to replace the McAfee software
Just purchased computer and WR Anywhere at Best Buy. Best Buy installed the product and I can see the product, key code, serial number and all kinds of other information. But when I go to create my account, it tells me the key code is already assigned to an existing account. Submitted support ticket(s) - and that was useless as days before hearing from them -- called support and that was useless also as rep offered no help and said my email address was not on the account for my keycode but offered no assistance beyond. Spoke with Best Buy and they did NOT create “my account” for customers on their own and have no idea how this happened. Any and all suggestions welcome and much appreciated on how to remedy this matter.
I signed up for Carbonite years ago. Separately, I also signed up for WebRoot years ago. Both signups were years before the companies merged. Both accounts were set up for auto pay. I just updated my credit card for Carbonite. How do I update my credit card for WebRoot? I can only log into one account: Carbonite + Webroot. That account shows the Carbonite Subscription but not the Webroot subscription. Support says: “we’ll fix it in the back-end”. Is that true? Or did I just hang up from my support call with my issue not solved?
Hello I just joined here and ik this is to introduce yourself but I have had webroot for 4 years now and I have loved it. Anyway latley I have ran into a couple of problems. 1. The scan would take up to two-four hours are more to do. And 2. When i do the scan i get this to show up multipal times in the box "Informational: Section matcher buffer2 expanded to 1340928 bytes". Sometimes it shows up are red lettering and sometimes black does anyone have any idea what this is? Thank You for your help!!!
I'm a newby here but would like to be a "reglar". I have been messing with the hardware end for 25 years or more. I leave the software up to you egg heads but if it's hardware...unless it's just broke...most times I can make it work when no one else can. If you have plenty of money...you just buy new...but po' folk have to try to make the stuff they have plod on. i'm not your average twerp (not that there's anything wrong with that) but I live out in the rural setting where people are struggling for every dime. Computer work is not a priortiy until it goes out on the farm and farmer JOHN has lost his data for 800 milk cows . lol...he doesn't want to spend $1000 for a new unit but he'll pay me $2000 to get what he had back. BACK UP? HUH? When I finish with them, they know how to back up and forward, how to type, how to spell their name. It's not just about fixing the modem...it's a whole education for them.. Anyways...i'm proud to be an American helping Americans.

Great to see Webroot has it's own community now.Was an old webroot customer from the early spysweeper days,then onto Norton and Kaspersky.WSA is by far the best ,lightest,most comprehensive suite available.When Webroot acquired prevx i followed the work that was being done and upon release of WSA came back and am back to stay.Welcome to Triple Helix and the rest of my friends from the Prevx/webroot area of the wilderssecurityforums!
I am not new to Webroot but I am new to the Community. I have been very satisfied with the product, no disabling virus attachs since I started using the product. That is huge to me and I will not change unless something happens going forward. I just renewed my subscription for 3yrs.
My computer get invaded with applications that like to 'report back to its home server. I delete them,but they keep coming back. Some of the applications aer useful. I need to stop these applications from gaining access to the Internet...how is this done?
Hi this is old man Bob & of course new to Webroot software and community. Had been with ZA since around version 2 but decided it was time for a change in security. So I will be doing a lot of reading for days to come and finding myself around the WebRooting :D community. BTW: I love the ability that WR has with being able to operate in the mix of multiple security packages that are or can be configured together. ...later, Bob
Hello, I am new to the forum and I have a question. I just renewed my subscription yesterday, but when I access the console panel the PC's that are covered still all show that I only have 29 days left on my subscription. Has anyone had this happen, and how do I get it to update? I did not receive a new key code so I don't know if that is the problem. HELP!!!
