I have set up webroot and I am not able to exclude a whole programme file from being monitored when the webroot icon is sitting down by the clock on the PC. We are using MYOB and the webroot software interfers with a lot of the MYOB processes and also our printer scan folder. Mostly we leave the webroot programme shutdown and only use it for on demand scanning. I have set up a path into the override section and I think I can exclude the whole folder that way. I also ticked the setting to add it to the default policy I created but the policy doesn’t show the override. Also how can I tell that the override I created with the folder selected to exclude from monitoring has actually excluded the folder from being monitored.
I was trying to download the app Manycam from the source website and webroot blocked it with the following message: W32.adware.gen I need this software and want to know if this site has been truly checked out before coming up with this message. Thanks for your assistance.
Somehow got a “track.package.ext” on my laptop which appears to be connected with my Gmail/Google account. Webroot scans are not recognizing it as malware. How can I get rid of it? Have already deleted extensions related to it under internet properties on google, but it keeps coming up w/pop-up ads---extremely annoying.
Can anyone help me with this error I am getting. I installed it and it completed the scan. I closed the programme and went to open it up again but I keep getting this error Webroot error - please contact your network administrator to access the user interface
Hello; I seem to have caught something. Every couple of days I get hi-jacked by a series of pop ups, M.S. Edge redirects to other sites etc. I have scanned multiple times with Webroot, adwcleaner, Maywarebytes and a third. Everytime the scans come back negative. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
I purchased a webroot subscription for 10 devices for 1 year in November. I have it on our computer and our android devices and activated the new key code. According to computer, I have 281 days left. However, today according to my phone I have 32 days left of the subscription. I know the computer is correct. What happened? And, what do I need to do to fix the android devices with webroot on them?
When I ran the installation of the basic security software the old expired webroot software dialogue box came up and stopped the installation of the new webroot software. I can’t get rid of the old expired software due to an old ADMIN control system on this computer. How do I get around this problem and install the new software?

When I downloaded my app for my phone and I put in the email, password and my Secure Anywhere complete keycode in the log in box, I recieve a error message saying: Error Login failed. The email or password you entered is incorrect. Since the log I used the same log in on to check the status of my computers that are associated with that account and it works fine. But I just don't understand why it not letting me log in.

I’ve used Webroot for years and thankfully haven’t had malware issues. Recently however, I was hit by a (seeming) ransomware attack. I’m very careful, but this came from a news link from Bing ! Anyway, whatever the *$#% it was, I was able to remove it. But are there any other scanners or anti-malware programs I should be using in addition to Webroot?
Windows Update wiped my hard drive this week. I have sent 2 messages to Webroot on the 6th, 7th and today. The response in the past has been almost immediate, however, I have had a response to date. I didn’t call the number because of such quick response, however, this is Saturday and the office is closed until Monday. Is this common?
Oddity: System won’t accept Authentication Code after entering Username and Password. System won’t send Code Reset Email. System won’t send Password Reset Email. System does send Email notification that Authentication Code attempts have exceeded allowance. Technical Support Ticket has gone unanswered for 6 hours. Customer of 8 years. This seems odd. Anyone have any ideas?
I recently created an application with a tool I have been using for years. HTML Executable (by G.D.G. Software) is a tool used to create eBooks or stand-alone applications from HTML code. The application that I created was a compilation of HTML web pages that comprised an eBook. After creating the application, I code signed it. Afterward, I submitted it to www.virustotal.com, where it passed with flying colors. However, during my testing of the application, I was shocked to see my anti-virus (Webroot) flag the application that I created as a Trojan Horse. I have since reached out to Webroot several times over the past couple of days and received no response whatsoever. Please tell me how I can get someone to look into to this false positive and white-list my application. Thank you.
