First off, good morning from the KC area! I'd like to start off by saying that I've used several antivirus programs over the years, but Webroot is by far the best I've used. That said, I have a few questions and concerns in regards to what protection plan I've purchased in comparison to what I'm about to do (a clean install of Windows 7 on my PC). Thing is, I don't want to post questions in the wrong forum...and I admit my navigation skills aren't exactly among the best. So maybe I could be pointed in the right direction...? And thanks for reading!
Hi my name is Ray and I have just upgraded to windows 10 from 8.1. I usually use Yahoo as my browser/ homepage when online. I had setup the webroot task bar which included the password manager, but after the upgrade it disappeared and I can't seem to get it back. Does anyone know why?
Hello Everyone, I'm DA, and in the coming day's I'll have some questions, to float at the community. In the meantime I'm just going to sit back and learn how things are done. This is my first trip to the community, but, I've been using WebRoot for a little over a year, and just love it. It's kept me out of a lot of trouble. Anyhow that's it, until I'm ready to start asking, I hope, intellegent questions. Y'all have a good day. DA
I never officially introduced myself. My name is Julie (aka Yankeelady2015). I worked for a large Hospital in Connecticut in the capacity as an Information System Specialist. In this capacity, I reviewed department systems for change and then automated. I worked along side with a System Analyst to develop an online Patient Information System (Patient Chart). This was the first one at that hospital. I beta tested the program before rolling it out to other programs. I developed an online Patient Information System Manual and trained staff to utilized the program. After the approval of the program, I acted as the administrator and was responsible for the entire program (problems, passwords, writing code). I retired from that position in 1998. That's my background. Thank you for reading. ;)

I recently repurchased WIFI security for my PCs and Android phone. Since then I have not been able to connect to the VPN via my android phone, although I can login. I uninstalled the app, reinstalled, logged in successfully, but still cannot connect to the VPN. Also, to complicate things, the Android App had prompted me to "Renew", so I did but it turns out my coverage did not end until October - so I have two keycodes active? Who knows. Also, there is no option on the phone to add a keycode anyhow. I submitted a ticket to support via the phone, but the ticket did not show up in my dashboard. Any help to get the phone to connect to the VPN would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you are hesitant to ask, please don't be...not here. As a senior in particular, who is very ignorant about computers, I have already become a bit bolder because the folks here have my back with the knowledge, patience, and kindness to help me climb out of my mostly self-made flubs. No question is too small, a lack of knowledge is no stumbling block here. Also,I want to thank all of these folks who make this forum so very special. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it. :D:heart:
So where would I got to unblock a website/view blocked website list? And how do websites get blocked? Is it only upon visitng the site? Or can it get blocked just by being in a list of search results on your internet browser? This is in reference to WSA by the way. NOTE: On PC/laptop
Since completing the latest update for Windows 10, the Webroot icon has disappeared from the notification area in the lower right corner of my desktop. Webroot's help section gives directions that are no longer valid since Microsoft changed the access parameters for the taskbar settings. There is no longer a 'taskbar properties' button. Only taskbar settings is available and when accessing the 'select which icons appear on the taskbar' setting, the Webroot icon is not available for display. How do I restore it for easy access?
Hello from Merrifield, Minnesota - Mission Township. I am so excited to start learning how to use and optimize WEBROOT SecureAnywhere after successful installation! For starters, can anyone tell me if it is best to turn Windows Defender off while Webroot SecureAnywhere AND is there any reason why I would want to have both turned on OR direct me to the right community forum to ask this question? The message in my Action Center under Spyware and unwanted software protection says, "Running two or more antispyware programs at at the same time can cause your computer to run slowly." Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise. Indomite
I'm what you would call 'RED' (retired and extremely dangerous, not unlike the movie of the same name). My current hobbies among many involve a passion for cyber security, critical thinking, and the 'unrelenting' thirst for truth. As a retired federal employee of 33 years now residing in Virginia, I'm interested in thwarting 'robo' callers, telephone and on-line 'scammers' and any other generic 'dirt bag' of the same ilk. I signed on with Webroot when I got my wife a new laptop, last Christmas. Being very impressed with the ease of download, activation and the speed of the scans on her machine, I decided to pull the plug on McAfee Live Safe that I had on my own desktop with a little over 2.5 months left in my subscription after McAfee Live Safe's third failure to properly download my AVP updates! Since late last December, when I downloaded Webroot o

I try again and select: “Fogotten Password” Then select: “I forgot my Security Code” I enter my email address I answer the security question I receive an email giving a link to reset my security code: I enter a new security code Repeat the new security code Receive the following message Your change has been applied. You can now login. I select the “log in” link. I repeat the process but still receive the error: “Invalid Authentication Code”. I have repeated this process multiple times.
