Hello Webrooters, There are some or all that are having issues with changing over Webroot Password Manager to LassPass. Here is a video that explains this procedure. I have followed these instructions and this still is not working without errors. At least here in the home of Webroot that is. :) Hello everyone, i am illumination. I have taken the time to read through many threads here and see what a close down to earth family webroot has here and decided to join. I have recently switched back to using webroot "AV for gamers" on my ROG... I used webroot before, but it has been a few years since then, and it has changed greatly over that period of time.. I look forward to getting to know all of you, and learn/share as time goes..
I paid a lot of money for licences but some moron at webroot had recently the great idea to spam and interupt me with a repeating huge notification advertising for some wifi shit they are selling now : how can I dismiss this spam, there is no option in the settings ? Thanks.

This time we'll be getting to know , our resident cat fanatic and technology enthusiast. Tell us a bit about yourself. I have always been a tech savant and always seem to instantly figure out anything technical. I've also had a lot go on in my life to the point that some people think I'm in my 40s with all I've been through. It would be a novel if I wrote about it for sure :) Anyone here is more then welcome to ask for assistance with anything networking related. As you know, I also run an IT research/consulting company called AGNXNetworks/Remixedc
I just watched a Linus Tech Tips video where it was recommended that you should run both an Anti-virus software and an Anti-malware software for good protection. It was noted that running both can mess with computer overall performance as well as conflicts between the two with scanning schedules, etc. so I thought I'd ask here to see what Anti-malware you all are using to limit this performance hit. I've been a Webroot anti-virus customer for a couple of years now and think it's great but I never gave much thought to extra protection since I havent had any real trouble. Thanks for your time, Jim
I have only been using Webroot for about a month and scan my computer daily, sometimes more than once. Last week, I noticed my sign in for Yahoo wouldn't work. I can sign in at my work computer, but not the home computer where Webroot is installed. Would Webroot allow something in that corrupted my sign in ability?
freydrew and LLiddell, I'm no longer getting email notifications for threads that I'm subscribed to. I received two email notifications for this thread. One was three days ago for the last reply and one was two days ago for being mentioned. That thread worked properly, but after that it appears email notifications stopped working. A reply was posted to this thread where I was mentioned, so I should have received two email notifications, but received nothing. I visited this thread this morning and saw the reply, but chalked it up to a fluke. However, I revisited the thread this afternoon and another reply was posted and I still didn't receive an email notification. After not receiving the email notification a
I have Webroot Secure Anywhere which has a backup feature. I don't want this and have disabled it only to get a message that my changes are only temporary and will be rewritten upon the next Webroot update. Frustrating! How can I stop backup from transferring info from my computer without my knowledge or consent? Thanks in advance for your help.
Hi all I am mlurp and a bit upset that it takes so much time while I am wanting to see the football game. So please excuse me if I am quick & blunt. This is as close to my question I saw so let me ask has version 220.127.116.11 lost its most important feature, to remove wasted MB's of clutter when shutting down. I see it doesn't clean the Recycle Bin any longer! Is this a sign I have lost the reason I spent so much for so long? Please let me know. And nice meeting each of you... :D
Hello there. I am sure you will be hearing from me quite often seeing as how I know just enough to get me in trouble. My first problem is I cannot reinstall my Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router Model WRT54G 2.4GHz 802.11g. It is 7 years old and I have no idea where all pertinet inf. has been long since lost. I do have the setup disk bu nothing I try works. Trying to accomplish this without help, but I admit I could use some advice. Nice to meet you all.
So where would I got to unblock a website/view blocked website list? And how do websites get blocked? Is it only upon visitng the site? Or can it get blocked just by being in a list of search results on your internet browser? This is in reference to WSA by the way. NOTE: On PC/laptop
New subscriber to Webroot Antivirus. First few times after installation I noticed green checkmarks in a Google search meaning, I assume, they were Webroot approved. This morning I noticed these checkmarks not appearing. Is it dangerous to click on these?
I have 2 annual subscriptions with Webroot that I am going to cancel if what I see is true. I Googled 3 different websites that contain content FOR Black people BY Black people and I received a warning: “This site may contain content that could affect your online security.”One of those websites is owned by ME therefore I know that it contains NO “content” that would even remotely affect your online security. This warning APPEARS to be a racist means to interfere with Black people from conducting legitimate business with each other. I am going to alert every African American website content producer to conduct a TEST to see if they are being flagged as a possible threat also. We have MILLIONS of followers across multiple social media platforms. If these flags are not removed within the next 72 hours, there will be a ton of videos released with Webroot as the subject. Then, if necessary we will take collective legal action.I want the flag removed from www.youtubebannedvideos.com IMMEDIA
webroot has been a godsend until today when i discovered that it does not detect/repair the dreaded autorun.inf infection. i was gobsmacked...when both Avast and Kaspersky easily picked up the infection and cleaned it up promptly. the autorun.inf infection was the one where it hides the folders and makes shortcut links in USB drives and it spreads from computer to computer like wildfire via usb memory devices. hopefully Webroot can up it's act and get this remedied quickly. Regards Pepe
Hi all.. Brand new Webroot user. I'm a frequent advertiser on Facebook and get/got many mails from em.facebookmail.comregarding advertising tips etc... The first one I received from them is getting blocked. I can't recall my previous interaction so not sure if I've always been a phish victim or not. Any info on this please? Thanks!
Hello Everyone! My name is Robert and I am new to this communty. I have tried everything from Norton to McAfee, and even Kaspersky with limitied to no results in protecting myself from malware and spyware that has bogged down both my desktop and laptop systems. I am hoping that this free 15 day trial will help me with making my decision with my antivirus needs. Webroot has recieved high marks with most of the pc community and I hope that I can now stop shopping for antivirus software FINALLY! I am however experiencing problems intalling webroot on my desktop though... It keeps disconecting from the internet with the usb wifi adapter that I am currently using. I guess I will have to move my modem into the office and plug it dirrectly in to see if it actually is a dropping out problem or maybe a nasty virus that is keeping me from installing webroot... I will repost my results and let you guys know... Untill then, I saw your tour video and yo
:catsad:I know it is not a very good way to start off an intro saying that I need help, but isn't that what we are here for? I downloaded the new Office 2013; Outlook will not process email. It will connect to the incoming server, but will not send the test email. I kept getting an error message. I finally found out what the error code meant. ( Error 0x800CCC0F when sending or receiving email. Usually caused by Antivirus software scanning email, but antispam scanners may cause Outlook to return this error as well. Disable the email scanning or increase the timeout setting. Also, make sure your firewall is allowing the scanner software to connect to the Internet). As you can see, I need to figure out how to increase the timeout setting. Does anyone have an idea on how to do this? I read through the instruction manual until I was blurry eyed and I still cannot figure it out. I really do need to use Outlook, now more then ever. My husband is getting ready to switch intern
