I use Desktop Central in order to deploy software, when I am trying to deploy to MAC env, I getInstallation Command Failure within Desktop Central, I am using the script as below, sudo "/Applications/Webroot SecureAnywhere.app/Contents/MacOS/Webroot SecureAnywhere" install -keycode=<keycode> -silent I am putting this in within Package Properties, Installation Command. Does the string look correct, any advice greatly received.

I just installed a new subscription and now I keep getting a Webroot popup that says the Secure Anywhere Agreement has changed and makes me Agree and Continue. Once was fine but it keeps arbitrarily (every 15 minutes or so) popping up. I have to click the agree button to keep working!Anyone know how to stop it?!
Hey I am not understanding my logs in my network firewall as I have checked my log the other day because my connection was cutting out at my house and I live in a 800 sq foot home and have high speed internet good for up to 15 devices.. and my router is like 5 feet away from where I have my TV and phone. So anyways, my wifi was lagging badly and so I logged into my router to see wtf was happening. if anything. Reason I am uneasy about this is I recently separated from my ex who in the past has put spy ware on my phones and different things to our home router to monitor traffic and snoop using man in the middle attacks. He has recently been to my new place and was caught going into my house when I was not home by a neighbour. Do I have anything to stress? I have a couple of tracker-blocking/reporting addons installed in my browser: Privacy Badger from the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and uBlock Origin. Both report multiple trackers on the pages on the Webroot Community forum.Privacy Badger, for instance, reports that there are four sites it is blocking:fonts.gstatic.com, platform.twitter.com, www.google-analytics.com, js-agent.newrelic.comAs you can see, none of those tracking sites have anything to do with Webroot’s business so it’s puzzling to me why they are allowing them here, especially since they advertise themselves to be one of the best computer security products on the market. It certainly makes you wonder just how secure they really are when they allow unrelated third parties to track us here.
Hi Trying to speak to someone in UK/Ireland in Sales/Renewals/Customer Success/Partner Team, in fact anyone other than Support, to resolve an issue I have but every number I call has the same automated message and asks to leave a message, are there no UK/Ireland contacts anymore in these areas?Do UK Partners have to wait until the sun comes up in the US to be able to resolve account problems?Feeling very frustrated!Thanks
I was installing a new wireless canon printer and thought I went to the website provided in the instruction booklet. The site I clicked on was the same only did not have the periods. Webroot said it was a dangerous site but I said go ahead anyway since I thought it was Canon. I ended up downloading a program that let this person look into my computer. He showed me files that he said were trojans and how dangerous they were and how many problems they caused. Towards the end it sounded like a scam and I told him I would purchase the product he wanted me to get on my own from Amazon and I hung up. The computer then ran in safe mode. finally restarted it and it was in regular mode. I ran Webroot and it said I didn’t have any thing that needed removed. I am worried that the access program that scammer used was still around but couldn’t find it in my downloads. Finally got the canon printer up and running. Do I need to do any additional search or support? Thank y ou
I'VE BEEN TRAPPED ALMOST A YEAR WITHOUT ACCESS TO MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE THIS GODFORSAKEN APP KEEPS RUNNING ME IN CIRCLES SAYING IT NEEDS AN AUTHENTICATION CODE!!! I'VE JUMPED THROUGH HOOPS RESETTING MY PASSWORD & RESETTING MY SECURITY CODE DUE TO COMMUNITY ADVICE SAYING IT WOULD TURN THE AUTHENTICATION PROCESS OFF BUT TO NO AVAIL!!!I'VE HAD WEBROOT FOR YEARS & HAD ONE NEW YEAR ADDED IN MY CART OF 5 DEVICES PLUS ALREADY HAVE 11 MORE MONTHS WITH 5 DEVICES OF WEBROOT LEFT IN MY ACCOUNT BUT I SWEAR TO GOD IF I CAN'T GET HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM STAT I'M GIVING UP!!! 😠 😠😠
Early this year I received an email stating that my subscription to WEBROOT was ending and they needed my credit card information to complete before being cancelled. I purchase my WEBROOT subscription along with my Tech Support ( not sure that is the name) for fixing my computers free. I have used that service for well over 15 years, before that I had to replace my computers at least every 24 months. The computer I am using to write this is almost six years old and running great.

need assistance with this support ticket regarding updating DNS protection for a client of ours. however im not sure how to go about this in the webroot admin dashboard. they received an email stating this: DNS resolvers for Webroot DNS Protection were moved to Google Cloud for hosting. This move has provided DNS protection with both amazing performance and 100% uptime. Now that 2 years have elapsed, we are in the process of decommissioning the old servers. It has come to our attention that you have networks that are still referencing these old resolvers. To avoid any service interruption, please update your networks to use the correct IPs before December 1st, 2021. Hi I am using Google as my default search engine. When searching on previous occasions WebrootSecureAnywhere used to indicate whether a site was safe by a green arrow/green circle at the front of (in most cases) of each result of a completed search. Mine does not now display as previously. Is it a Google or WebrootSecureAnywhere problem ? Any advice/assistance would be appreciated. I recently switched over to Webroot for my personal machines, and joined this community. While I am a software developer of many years, there's a lot I don't understand about cyber security in general. Here’s something specific…If you already have a rootkit unknowingly installed on your Windows machine, and the rootkit is smart enough to expect and trick Webroot, then the only way Webroot can defeat it, is to boot itself from independent start-up media (USB flash drive), then scan & quarantine/disable the rootkit before your OS can start from the Windows boot drive.But all I was required to do after purchasing, is download and install. It started up, scanned, and detected no issues. But how could Webroot be so sure it's not being tricked or defeated in some way? I could find no "boot-from-start-up-media-and-scan" options for this product.Thanks for your patience. Scott.
Re Win 10 pro 21H1 also using Webroot AV ver 184.108.40.206I can only use save as, save option greyed out using latest version of Adobe Reader DC.I have seen this as a known issue, resolved by using the windows security/manage settings in virus & threat protection (v&tp). However this option is not present - only Webroot is shown in v&tp - ie no windows security protection options.I have also gone into gpedit to check if v&tp is turned off - however it is set to not hidden.I have tried to re-install Adobe Reader, tried to repair it.I can see nothing in Webroot which gives any indication that it is overriding Windows Security.Any suggestions?
