I have renewed my Webroot subscription and entered the new product key code. The program works fine, but the expired key code still appears on my account home page. I have to manually enter the new key code every few days, because it says that my subscription has expired. Any thoughts or help would be great. Thanks!!
A couple months ago we interviewed Roy Tobin from our Threat Research team in Ireland. Today we're going to talk to , who works here in the Broomfield office. I had already been manually removing adware and spyware as part of my helpdesk job since the AV companies were ignoring adware and spyware at the time, and being a "spyware hunter" sounded like a pretty cool job. Hello, I'm a newbie...........Kasie92 I have used Webroot for several years and when I saw the price for a renewal I called the company and stated that as I only ever us 1 PC I wanted a reduced price. (a closed mouth is never fed) They ended up giving me a discount. I did ask if the content would be the same. they said yes it would be the same.I have tried to use the optimize scan. It doesn't work. At first I thought is it me???? I found how to change the settings on what I wanted to be optimized but when I go to the scan area it's blank even though the name optimize is there. I know from reading these posts there are some talented people in here to help me. I await your phenomenal input. Kasie-92
Okay, I know this is probably a silly question, but I became a member of the WSA family a couple of weeks back and while I did receive my email confirmation of my order AND I downloaded it in an uber quick snap to start protecting my laptop, I still have not received the $9.99 disc of the program that I ordered. I should have received it well before now, I would think, and although I gather that it is truly a redundancy tool, I still paid for it and would like to have it my cache of important 'stuff'. Can anyone suggest how I can find out what the status of this is? I checked out the 'self help' section for purchase and renewal support by I think I confused the self help directory with my inquiry and... well... :$ I don't want to break anything in here 'cause I'm pretty sure it's valuable stuff... So, could anyone give me some tips or pointers on how to get an idea on when this should have arrived or if it even got sent to me yet? I understa

This time we'll be getting to know , our resident cat fanatic and technology enthusiast. Tell us a bit about yourself. I have always been a tech savant and always seem to instantly figure out anything technical. I've also had a lot go on in my life to the point that some people think I'm in my 40s with all I've been through. It would be a novel if I wrote about it for sure :) Anyone here is more then welcome to ask for assistance with anything networking related. As you know, I also run an IT research/consulting company called AGNXNetworks/Remixedc
I just recently installed WSA and I have noticed that when I open up a new window/page to visit 2 different sites at once or to check emails while on another site, it seems to take some time for the page to load fully so that I can make use of the features on the page, like typing, moving the right bar up and down to scroll the entire length of the page, etc. Is this because my WSA product is scanning the content on the page to make sure there is nothing hidden or dangerous on that page that might try to infiltrate into my computer? Being a total dweeb in the tech sector I have no clue, but I thought this might explain it since it has only been doing this since I installed my WSA product. :$ Anyway, thanks so much for taking a look! :D But, just to add, I do love  the ease with which my WSA product handles its affairs on my computer. The scan happens in a blink and it has taken care of 3 issues that it found since installation, cooties that came
Hi! I am a brand new Webroot member who just left her Norton antivirus behind. Being probably the LEAST tech savvy person on the planet didn't help me much, but when they couldn't help get the product to work right I was done. I had gotten some advice from people I trust that Webroot was the way to go so I made th switch but I see alot of differences in the way Webroot scans and how much it scans vs. the way Norton would do a full system scan. I guess you could say that while I'm unsavvy in the tech world, I do have alot of questions because I just need to make sense of things in the way they run for my own peace of mind. Since the support crew isn't available over the weekends I thought I'd get my feet wet by posting here to see how others like Webroot and if they had used Norton before if they had also noticed the differences that I do. Anyway, hello again and thanks for perusing my note!
I'm not sure where to ask a question. I put this someplace else and it was deleted with no answer, so I'll try here. This morning on the Today show they gave a report about a hacker scam. Evvidently, a user will get a spoof email from UPS or Fedex. When it is opened you get a red screen and it locks up your computer. You have to pay $500 to get it unlocked. If you wait too long you have to pay $1000. Does Webroot have a protection for this?
Good Morning! I continue to get these popup ads by quiknowledge as I work. I don't know how it got into my programs but I was able to remove it through my control panel and "uninstall a program". With that said, I continue to get the "popup" in my Google Chrome. Is there a way that I can get this stopped? Thanks! Phil
