Hi, I am fedupWmachines :@ ; all of them; and then some! But I need them and there is still much about them I love. So, I am here to learn. Probably ask lots of questions. Am non-tech, but was techie(over 25 yrs ago:D) so kinda starting over. Have had some kind of PC for a good 25 yrs, added games, phones, tablets (most recent), laptops, etc....and been with Webroot quite a long time. For now I'll do some more browsing, which is what I was doing before I registered. Decided it was time, since I have looked the site over before and learned quite a bit! THANKS. TTYS:D
Newbie password management protocol question
Hi, folks, I'm new here. I'm technically capable, but not knowledgeable about security. Is it OK to save my Secure Anywhere login credentials in the WSA password manager? I set up two-factor authentication on my account, if that makes a difference. Thanks, LauraB
Renewing my security package
Hi Guys, My Webroot security is up for renewal..........can I just ask.....is the ‘complete’ the best package to have??......... Just to refresh so you don’t assume I’m some sort of joker (and to those who don't know).......I'm bedbound, chronically ill from a virus, contracted 3yrs ago following a routine tooth op. It entered my brain and central nervous system and has affected all my systems and organs...... My laptop is now literally my whole world. However, I’m not up to complex answers. I just didn’t want anyone at a quick glance to think it was a shallow or trivial question, without knowing the facts. :$ Unfortunatly I can’t keep up to all security information as my cognition is impaired and fluctuates greatly. This will be my 3rd year of Webroot security and I greatly appreciated being excepted into the community (though are can’t participle as often or to the level that I would like) but where I can ask dumb question……. And it be OK
New community member and I have a problem
Hi, my name is Bill and have used Webroot for several years. Recently I installed Ninite Updater and during one of its initial checks I think I had Webroot block its attempt to update. I was able to undo that at the time but have forgotten what I did. Now I can only briefly shut down the firewall to allow it to update and then turn the firewall back on. I guess I need to know what I did before and how to deal with this in the future. Did I mention I am 62? Thanks, love the product, Bill (40wnks)
Blocked malicious website
I have had Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete for about two weeks. So far, it has been good. I do have a question I can't find the answer to, I have looked in the user guide, on the forum etc. When the software blocks a website because it is classified as malicious, a message and a screen appears and the only option I can select is to continue. The message is orange on black. What do I do to leave this site I have been signing off the internet. I hope I have explained this well enough. I would appreciate any help.

New to the Community & have a question
Hello, I'm Mike from Ohio. I've been using Webroot for our home PC for several years now and really like it. However, I have a question...maybe a concern. Originally, I purchased "standard" Webroot (shows as a purple icon with a green-yellow-orange-red dot inside indicating status of the updates). Then, after being offered an upgrade to Webroot Secure Anywhere, I opted to upgrade and use that product. For the longest time, the two products co-existed on my PC. Within the last couple of days, the original Webroot icon will no longer update itself and show a "green" dot indicating that it's fully up-to-date...the dot only shows "red" -- I'm guessing a very bad sign. The Webroot Secure Anywhere window continues to show that I'm protected and there are no active threats on/against my PC. Should I be concerned? Should both products be on my PC at the same time? Any help is much apprectiated.
Allow me to introduce myself.
Hi all :) My name is Herve Conte de Montbrial and i live in the south of France, more precisely in Aix en Provence, a university town such as Cambridge or Oxford in England. I'm often abroad because of my job in a famous French company. I'm very happy to join the Webroot Community and meet up with friends from Wilder's, in particular Daniel (Triple H'elix SuperMan lol) Cheers, Herve
Hi, I'm beagle1957, former internet tech support specialist for a couple of cable/internet providers in my local area. Just installed WSA Complete yesterday and had to use tech support & the community forum to fix an access problem with Password Manager - VERY impressed with both! Looking forward to contributing to the forums!
Thanks to nic for the pleasant welcome wagon message.
Hi all ~ & where to start? Born and raise in Hamburg, Germany just when The Beatles hit the big times. Cool place to grow up. By twists of fate I am now in Stockton, California and looking to survive working on all sorts of platforms (have avoided droid so far) and different vintages. Thanks for letting me say "hello"!
New member having troubles
Hey Y'all! I am new to Webroot and I have been trying to install a couple programs onto my computer but I can't. I can download the file but it wont open and install. One time Webroot popped up and said something, unfortunately I didn't write it down and I have a very bad memory, and then I could not install the program. Please help! Thanks in advance!
Hello, I am brand new to Webroot. I think I have SecureAnywhere Plus. It does not say that on the box but buy comparing the different looking boxes it looks like plus. Geek Squad installed it on one of my laptops and gave me the Secure Anywhere box and CD. It was very easy to install this program on my other two laptops. One is my wife and one is a very small Asus I have text to talk on. I was injured in the Iraq war and can not make a sound or talk. My computers are my communication. I nerver heard of Webroot until the Geek Squad installed it on the first computer. I like how fast it is but I still can't get over the fast scans. My question is does Webroot Plus have a spam filter and is the complete version better than the Plus version. Thank you so much. I will keep reading here and the Blogs so I can learn this program as fast as I can. Be Safe Danyel
Pass word protection
I can't sign in to password saving on browser and into my account if I want todo any thing it says to try again later. And so far I haven't found a way to contact any one. I've been trying to do this for a while, so many companys when you have problems they have run you around web sites. Not saying web root is that way.
Potential Threat Warning
Hi! A "potential threat" warning popped up on my screen from "Microsoft Security Essentials Alert". I scanned my laptop twice using Webroot and their was no threat. What is this?: http://gk023pcv.antimalware-pro-2014.in/index.php?key=f04f74c5a94766a421f8a2acd1f4f790
