Mobile phone battery use
Lately, my mobile phone protected by Webroot has been using an inordinately large amount of energy which is used by the SecureAnywhere app (according to the battery use counter in Settings). Is this normal? How can I reduce this current drain? What is the problem? I think the app is set to scan weekly, but it seems as though there is some function happening all the time.
Renewal Rip Off
This is just a general rant. no need to respond. I'm 10 days from my 'Complete' package expiring and of course I'm being hounded to renew and save 10$ on renewal for $69. Why the hell would I accept such a stupid offer when I can buy it new from the website for $50 off for $29.99? The software seems to work well but everything I have read about Webroot suggests that their biggest problem is inconsistent rates and massively overpriced renewals. I'm ok with going to another company, even if they have supposed hidden backdoor access to my data.
Password manager - unclear about whether part of service purchased
What, precisely, does the quote below (next pp) mean - it's in the pop-up when choose to manage passwords in online account? I can't tell if this means I'm going to be upgraded and charged, or the password service is part of my 'SecureAnywhere' package (and the info given on site is vague in that the services with this feature do begin with SecureAnywhere but then have other names attached - 'Internet Security Plus" and so on, which in my popup box are not there (SecureAnywhere doesn't have "Complete" or any other indication of type) but the 'Manage your password' box does seem to have a green check - that take you online to setup the password feature - where this quote below pops up). "Please be aware that this will activate your keycode if not already active and allow up to 15 minutes for this to become available." Thanks for any and all assistance.
Ok I have a subscription to SecureAnywhere for 5 products. First: the Webroot console doesn't show my mobile devices, Second: the mobile app wants me to install a separate app "SecureWeb browsing app" I install that app and all it wants me to do is buy there product. My subscription doesn't expire till 2021. It doesn't give me a place to log in to my account. Third: Your supposed to be able go into settings and change the Persistent status feature and that doesn't even show anymore. Why every time you update your products you have more problems than good. Does the Secure Web Browsing App just work in the back ground?? How does this work now. Things like this shouldn't be so difficult. been trying all morning to just get to the way it was.

Updates Install in Different Location
The only programs I install on my c: drive are Windows and programs that do not allow a custom install. I installed Webroot on my d drive yet yesterday apparently a program update was installed automatically and it installed itself on my c: drive. So now I have two installations on my system. If I uninstall the copy on the c: drive will it just update itself again and put it on my c: drive again? I stopped using a different program from a different vender for the same reason so I am hoping there is a workaround that will enable the updates to install on the drive and directory of my choice. thank you, betty
