Hello everyone,, when I attempt to set myself to admin permissions in the PC Security Console, so I can deactivate older PCs (need to deactive 5), I keep getting the message that the service can't be provided without selecting a keycode. There's no option to select a keycode. It shows my keycode, but gives me no options to select it. I'm stumped. Thanks for any help.
Never had an issue with WR. Today my sons macbook was acting strange and I wanted to download webroot for Mac. I went online and found what I thought was a web root site and attempted a download and got an error code with a number to call for tech support. 1-877-339-7787 long story less long, I think this is a scam. They want $299 to fix the network Trojan horse they said was on my computer. They seemed legit, but something sounded phishy. sadly, I let them access not one, but two computers. A Mac and a pc. As soon as my spideysenses started tingling, I jerked the modem cable and shut down the network and computers. How screwed am I?
Hi all, Matt from Sydney / Australia. Variously - IT industry, teaching, help run a coworking space. Running my own business and run all my client's security via Webroot. I've used most of the major security vendor's products over the years at retail up to SME level and Webroot is far and away the best experience I've had from both an end-user and an admin perspective. It ticks so many boxes!
We use an application called DLS2. But, whenever Webroot get installed on the machine, it blocks the application and this application doesn't response anymore. So, what I have to do, every time it happens, I uninstall Webroot first. then uninstall the DLS2. After that, I have to make a fresh installation of DLS2. It’s lots of works actually.
It would be nice to have a visual differance between BETA and the Standard version. I keep looking at my version and it says BETA. I have yet to encounter any problems using my dell XPS 13 but if the BETA could have a color other then Green that would help those of us no noticing any change. I do have to say it did dig deeper into my files
I had a Webroot control panel report that my PC had 2 harmful items detected and required a scan to resolve this. I scanned the PC and nothing was found, None of the reports indicate that anything was ever found or removed … my online report states 'never infected' … all historic scan results are 'clean' and 'no malicious files detected' …. anyone know what could have caused this

I met Webroot at the Best Buy Geek squad when they cleaned my laptop of over 1000 viruses and malware. I was using one of the two more popular antivirus software. Well, no more. I'm having a problem with entering my code to be able to install Webroot on my new phone . The code gets a dash automatically entered so I'm not able to log on. Any suggestions? Thanks
Hello everyone! Just switched my anti-virus software over to Webroot. Long ago I used it for awhile [still have the CD], but I've spent most of my computing years using Norton. For various reasons, I have moved on from that company. Briefly, I tried Vipre, but although I really like most aspects of the program, the annoyingly intrusive firewall was a deal-breaker for me. Webroot is my kind of security software - secure, efficient and out-of-sight. I bought Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus and I am loving it!
