Hello, I need some assistance on the following situation please. Today, I have decided to renew my subscription early by following the promotional link sent to my email. However, after I typed in my personal details and credit card details and pressed "Buy" nothing happened. Then, a minute later, I was alerted that my credit card I typed in has been charged for USD49.99. Now, I still have not received any renewal of my subscription. No email confirmation was sent to me either. So, I sent a message to Technical Support, hoping that they would help me sort out this situation. (Please note that I live in Southeast Asia and hence calling customer support in the U.S. would cost me a lot of money) Now, I am still waiting. But, I also have another questions. Should I call my credit card company to cancel the first transaction and try to purchase again? I am very worried about this, can you please give me some insight about this issue? Thank you so much in advance for any reply and suggestion.
Hello, I am having a devil of a time updating my mobile app. I have been using Complete for some time now, and have the mobile version installed on my Motorola phone (Android 4.4.4). The new version will not activate until the old version is unistalled. The conventional method does not work. It is listed as an "active device administrator". I have tryed deactivating it a hundred times, but it refuses. Also tried in safe-mode and got the same result. I removed the device from the online console, but now cannot add it back in without activating it on my phone first, which is at the moment impossible to do. I have tried the Android tricks found online, but this old app refuses to let go of my phone - even when "forced". Help!
I believe I have been a person of a scam. About a week and a half ago I got I message on my computer while I was using my computer and could not remove the message...my computer got locked up. I did not know what to do so I called the number in the message and they introduced themselves as A Geek Solutions. They got me soi fustrated and confused. They told me only they could help me and Microsoft could not and they would not release my computer and only they can...I went back and forth and wound up paying therm $184...I need to know what I can do about my accounts, etc how do I file against them etc. Thank you. Fran
"Forums that use this UI method usually have a way to see all threads that your subscribed to that have new comments you haven't read. I see how to see my subscribed threads, but there isn't a way for it to show threads with unread comments. If not, can it be added? If you add this, the link to the thread should take you to the first unread comment the user hasn't read." I don't believe this is an option, however I can certainly ask about it.
Hello everyone! Just switched my anti-virus software over to Webroot. Long ago I used it for awhile [still have the CD], but I've spent most of my computing years using Norton. For various reasons, I have moved on from that company. Briefly, I tried Vipre, but although I really like most aspects of the program, the annoyingly intrusive firewall was a deal-breaker for me. Webroot is my kind of security software - secure, efficient and out-of-sight. I bought Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus and I am loving it!
I recently received this email from webroot: ‘PayPal Account Modified’ themed emails lead to Black Hole Exploit Kit‘PayPal Account Modified’ themed emails lead to Black Hole Exploit Kit. Could that be connected to a Bill Me Later account? Also, will web root find these "black Hole Explorer Kits and what is the Black Hole Explorer kit? Thanks, Donna
Heya everyone - I am no stranger to forums but am new to this one. I purchased this product on a reccomendation and could not be happier. I have my personal PC protected as well as my wife's and mother in law's lap tops. I will soon be upgrading and would like to protect my new investment with this program as well. I have a couple questions that have led me here but I am going to search a few old posts first to see if I can find the anwers myself! Cheers!
I'm not sure where to ask a question. I put this someplace else and it was deleted with no answer, so I'll try here. This morning on the Today show they gave a report about a hacker scam. Evvidently, a user will get a spoof email from UPS or Fedex. When it is opened you get a red screen and it locks up your computer. You have to pay $500 to get it unlocked. If you wait too long you have to pay $1000. Does Webroot have a protection for this?
I purchased Webrot Securuty Anywhere in December 2014 for 12 months. Today I suddenly got the message that my licence has expired leaving me vulnerable attacks. I tried all ways to contact anyone from any webroot suppprt teams. It is impossible to contact anyone to get this problem resolved. I am forced to download AVG free at least I will have some sort of protection from doing that. At the moment to me it looks as though my efforts to contact webroot will be ignored I cannot ask for my payment to be refunded. Is there anyone that has had a simular experience and is is solvable. Hello, Webroot community. I love Webroot because its drop down window allows me to access in seconds the different sites that I have to visit every day in my work. Also, viruses SCARE me!! So I can go to sleep at night knowing that Webroot is out there in the darkness protecting my on-line Self/Identify from invasion by geek microbes. Although I have been using computers for perhaps fifteen years in my work, I am still in the dark ages when it comes to learning new technologies. Hold on to your seats...I don't even own a cell phone or any other hand-held technology. So having Webroot on my side in the battle against mhy own ignorance is comforting. Finally, when I have run into trouble with my Webroot (almost always do to my own ignorance) the Webroot support staff have been very patient and extremely helpful in getting me back up to speed. I am not on Facebook or any other on-line community, so the fact that I'm even writing this says something about the trust and appreciati

Don't like to complain but the Webroot tech support guy that I just spoke with suggested I post this complaint. Last year I bought the Webroot Secure Anywhere software from Best Buy. I think version 8. So this year I was prompted to renew my subscription. I get an email after I had renewed thru Webroot and not Best Buy Assurance (which I didn't know I should have renewed thru Best Buy), that I needed to uninstall the older version and reinstall. I just spent WAY too much time trying to find out if I actually had to do this, WHICH I DID NOT, because this years version is the same as last years. Couldn't you add this question to the list of frequently asked questions so that someone else does not have to go thru what I just did. And by the way, not everyone is tech savvy. I thought I should get the back up cd and was told by Webroot tech support that I didn't need to do this. So I bought the back up cd for $10 and I didn't even need it. So
tHIS HAS BEEN way too hard to get in! so I'm a perturbed person just now...Webroot acted like they didn't know me yet it appears they've been watching and accepted my money. When I use/have Webroot I suppose I should get rid of and deny any other "cleaners"? RE SUBJECT: If we like it should I take recomendations to remove programs? I like to travel light
