I hate looking stupid but I usually have little say over the matter. I've wiped my hard drive clean but in a moment of rare mental clarity I backed everything up into 'Back up and Sync.' How do I retrieve these irreplaceable gems of wit and wisdom??? It's clear that I can click and drag but that seems to remove said file from back up and sync and then it only lives on my hard drive? Even I understand it would be better to have it in both places. Thanks much
Hello Webroot Community I hope this is where I post a quesiton because I am in need ! Are any of you having a problem with your activation date not being correct? Any help would be great ! Thanks Techaholic ! *edit - The original topic title of "Minor questions? Ask them here!" could potentially generate some confusion in search results, so it's been edited to specify the issue. - admin
Hello Everyone! My name is Robert and I am new to this communty. I have tried everything from Norton to McAfee, and even Kaspersky with limitied to no results in protecting myself from malware and spyware that has bogged down both my desktop and laptop systems. I am hoping that this free 15 day trial will help me with making my decision with my antivirus needs. Webroot has recieved high marks with most of the pc community and I hope that I can now stop shopping for antivirus software FINALLY! I am however experiencing problems intalling webroot on my desktop though... It keeps disconecting from the internet with the usb wifi adapter that I am currently using. I guess I will have to move my modem into the office and plug it dirrectly in to see if it actually is a dropping out problem or maybe a nasty virus that is keeping me from installing webroot... I will repost my results and let you guys know... Untill then, I saw your tour video and yo
Hello all. I am new here and just wanted to check in. I have over 15 yrs of IT experience with everything from phone support to designing bulding and maintaining enterprise class data storage networks. I should mention that in my opinion Secure Anywhere is hands down the best security solution on the market and the tech support is unsurpassed especially being in the US. I look forward to meeting all of you. :D
I'm curious as to the extent of WRAC's ancillary features such as disk cleanup & such, if there are any - I can't seem to find a really simple yet comprehensive list of all the WRAC features. Also, how well does the program work if I lose my network connection? Thanks, Ben
Hello everybody! I was a long-time user of Prevx and boy did I love that program. I did get one or two FP's but that's normal. I kept reading in the blogs that it rated high in FP's but that certainly wasn't my experience. Then Webroot bought them out and I became just as happy and content using WSA - been using it since the change-over. Except for one probem that I cannot put off anymore. It is slowing down my `puter (Toshiba Satellite laptop) and I need help with a problem that I posted in the Forum for "Non-Techies". Feel free to take a gander, please, as I'm fresh out of ideas and totally exhausted from trying to fix it myself. I admit defeat. I'd hate to have to uninstall it; that's akin to throwing my money away. Looking forward to roaming around the forums, reading everything and learning megatons of handy things and necessary information. Also, being kept up to date on security, etc. Hope y'all have a wonderful July 4 holiday (and a safe one)! Sincerely, Greta

Greetings from Texas! I joined the community for the purpose of figuring out why I can't log in to my Linkedin account after having installed Webroot. I have no issue logging in from my office computer, which doesn't have Webroot installed. I greatly appreciate any help. Best, DCGarcia1
Forgetting my manners. Been posting questions on here without even introducing myself first!. My name`s George, 47, from Liverpool. My username WaspUK1966 is my Gamer tag for Steam and XBox Live ( if you see me playing online come and say hello)..I think this forum is excellent. My name is Rikard Zetterberg, 36 yo, living in Sweden. I've been working in the IT industry for more than 15 years, both in the role of technical consultant, CTO and CEO. Most of my time I've been focusing on IT security in the cloud and I was one of the contributors to SoftScan's great success as pioneers in hosted Email Security back in the early 00's. As the threat developed I was one of the first to introduce the hosted Web Security to the Scandinavian market. Today my company, WeCloud, offers 100% cloud based IT Security: End Point Security, Web Security, Email Security, Secure Archiving, Monitoring Services and in-depth knowledge. My business goal is clear and simple: Make IT Security available to anyone. WeCloud distributes the SecureAnywhere Business edition to Scandinavia. Looking forward to get to know you all! :) // Rikard
Hi Everyone. Just a quick note to introduce myself. I am a newcomer to Webroot SecureAnywhere and after using quite a few different security programs over the years and not too keen about using the "cloud" I can honestly say that I am very impressed with the program so far. Thank you Triple Helix for introducing me to it. :manhappy:
My father's laptop was recently infected, forcing me to do a factory restore. In considering how to enhance his security posture, I decided to move off of MSSE and towards a 3rd party AV solution. I was not expecting much, but after considering ESET, Norton, AVG, Avast, Avira, BitDefender, and ZAIC, I went with WRAV based upon the consistently good reviews. I must say that I am now even more impressed having surveyed these forums. In less than a day, I've learned a great deal about just how extensive of an overall AM product WRAV is. I had also purchased ZA Pro and MBAM the same day I chose WRAV, determining to proceed with a layered approach. Now I'm becoming more convinced that WRAV might be all I need. Additionally, the assistance on these forums is remarkably good. Even if WRAV was less than stellar, the quality of help on these forums make the product worth the price. I'm finding myself absolutely puzzled at some of the refund requests of some of the unhappy use
Just installed Webroot. Checked PC Security on my online account. My settings for Webroot Secure Anywhere are "user defined" although I didnt change anything, just installed it. When I click on the help icon on this page, a number of security settings are listed. The "Medium(recommended)" setting is highlighted in blue. Should I change my security settings to this, and if so, what will it do as regards the program? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi. My name is Marc, from Scottsdale, Arizona. I have just started using Webroot Secure Anywhere. I usually do not take the time to write product reviews good or bad, but I am so impressed by the product that I wanted to leave a 5-star review somewhere. I purchased it direct from the company website, as opposed to Amazon or other retailer where they have a system for user reviews. Is there such a place here, or should I post back to this forum with my review and some technical observations? Thanks.
