Hey I am not understanding my logs in my network firewall as I have checked my log the other day because my connection was cutting out at my house and I live in a 800 sq foot home and have high speed internet good for up to 15 devices.. and my router is like 5 feet away from where I have my TV and phone. So anyways, my wifi was lagging badly and so I logged into my router to see wtf was happening. if anything. Reason I am uneasy about this is I recently separated from my ex who in the past has put spy ware on my phones and different things to our home router to monitor traffic and snoop using man in the middle attacks. He has recently been to my new place and was caught going into my house when I was not home by a neighbour. Do I have anything to stress? Or am I paranoid? My log for my firewall stated this: FW.IPv6 FORWARD drop , 286 Attempts, 2022/2/10 22:32:53 Firewall Blocked FW.WANATTACK DROP , 9 Attempts, 2022/2/10 20:58:00 Firewall Blocked FW.IPv6 INPUT drop ,
need assistance with this support ticket regarding updating DNS protection for a client of ours. however im not sure how to go about this in the webroot admin dashboard. they received an email stating this: DNS resolvers for Webroot DNS Protection were moved to Google Cloud for hosting. This move has provided DNS protection with both amazing performance and 100% uptime. Now that 2 years have elapsed, we are in the process of decommissioning the old servers. It has come to our attention that you have networks that are still referencing these old resolvers. To avoid any service interruption, please update your networks to use the correct IPs before December 1st, 2021. This is the last notification we will send out warning you that these IPs are being turned off. Note, this change must either happen on your network’s DNS Servers and the DNS setting on your Firewall / Router. The new IPs for your region can be found in the Webroot Business Console under the DNS tab. Once you select the ap
Vorrei sapere se qualcuno può dirmi dove posso trovare la scadenza dell’abbonamento in essere per Webroot secureAnywhere antivirus installato.non riesco a trovarlo da nessuna parte e supporto tecnico non mi risponde(I would like to know if anyone can tell me where I can find the expiration of the existing subscription for Webroot secureAnywhere antivirus installed. i can't find it anywhere and tech support doesn't answer me)
Is there any way to use a small font size in questions or answers? That is, for the purpose of minor and possibly irrelevant information?I’ve checked the Markdown syntax but couldn’t find anything. However, I feel I’ve seen it on the site somewhere…I have seen a website Anchor Fonts in which I see very different types of font styles but I can’t find the smallest font in this very type of font but…
I just installed a new subscription and now I keep getting a Webroot popup that says the Secure Anywhere Agreement has changed and makes me Agree and Continue. Once was fine but it keeps arbitrarily (every 15 minutes or so) popping up. I have to click the agree button to keep working!Anyone know how to stop it?!
I recently noticed that my LastPass is now the free account (even though I have the Webroot Anywhere with 5 devices). It used to be premium but not anymore.I’ve tried going to My Account to sign in. Following the link opens a carbonite “create account”.I enter the keycode I have, but I get the error message that states that the keycode is already associated with another account. It’s very frustrating. All the links and previous how-to’s are dated and do not reflect the new changes.Appreciate any help on the matter.
Hi Webroot Community! I'm Cat, your new Community Manager. Although I'm originally from Michigan, I happily joined the amazing Webroot team out in Colorado over the last year with a goal of creating a single online space for us to interact with our community! I'm really looking forward to meeting you in our new online community and learning your thoughts on internet security. (Yes, the good AND the bad.) I'll probably even chime in on the forums from time to time. Now you have a whole new playground to share your thoughts, ideas and get a say on how to create the most revolutionizing security product out there! (We may even reward you along the way...) I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it! Please feel free to send me a message any time to give me feedback on the Webroot Community or ask me a question. Happy...reading, voting, posting!
Hello, I'm Alex. I'm a Colorado native, marketing writer, and sushi enthusiast who you'll see on the Webroot Community pretty often. Most of the things you'll see me write are in the form of tips and tricks, security news, and rumors and myths - all of which, I'm proud to say, are focused on improving the conversation on an otherwise boring/stressful subject: online security. I'm here to help. So if there's something you'd like to know about, please let me know in the Discussion section of the Webroot Community.
Although I'm a technical person and a complete nerd I gravitate toward the arts and view the sciences as it's own art form. I love foriegn and art films, comic books, british indie music, craft beer, video games and just fixing things in general. I get a sense of accomplishment from figuring out something that is completely outside of my realm of comfort. I'm not scared to fix my furnace, mend my fence or repair some plumbing as long as I have enough time to research and have the tools for the job. Bottom line, I love figuring out convoluted things! -Nathan Mills
