I need help putting webroot on my home computer. . I purchased webroot for my laptop and want to put it on my home computer. I had a different webroot account on my home computer when I purchased it. So, I only renewed my laptope account. When I try to transfer the laptop key code to my home computer, it does not recognize the laptop key code. Keeps saying invalid code. I know the code is good because I just renewed my webroot. Thanks.

On my iMac, Webroot has been running for nearly 100 hours and has has detected 134 threats. It is still running. Why all of a sudden ? Has it not been doing its scheduled scans for a while? Is this normal ? Has it been taken over by malware or a virus ?
I'm new to this sort of forum.... My name is Sandra Stanley, born in Colorado, 1969. Born and raised here. My husband and I have been married19 year's, and we have raised 2 grown children, and 1 grandchild. Now we're living the empty nest life. Life is great!!! LOL. :D
When I purchased my computer in January of 2016 I also bought this Webroot program. In all the fuss of the new computer--I've never actually owned one--I put the program up and away for forgot about it totally until I came across it this morning. I then installed it and ran it, but it now says that I have only a few days left until I need to update my subscription. Why is that? I paid $49.99 new at the store and have barely opened the thing and just now installed it. It doesn't make sense to me that I havew only a few days until there is a subscription charge for more protection.
I am here to help in whatevery capacity I can. Not sure what your looking for so here it goes. I retired in 2012 and have been assisting nonprofits in creating Access databases/spreadsheets for their B2B marketing in my area, and uploading that data to their internal systems. 1981-1989 I served in the US Army at NSA where I began using computers for the first time, along with the military intranet. 1989-1999 I worked at Arizona State University as a Program Manager where I created databases in Access and assisted the University in their UAT testing for their financial, student and human resource systems. 1999-2000 I was employed at Charles Schwab as an Associate Stock Broker and IT Support Desk during their software retirement program, assisting clients in uninstalling and reinstalling vendor programs, and linking their accounts. 2000-2001 I was employed at Northern Arizona University as a Program Manager again creating databases for the Dean, and managing the IT support for
Hi All, As the subject line suggests - I've used Webroot for quite some time but Windows 10 release 1709 caused some Access Denied issues for me, hence why I have joined the Community. I am a Unix engineer by training and now a Project Manager, but a seasoned IT person who expects issues to occur. It's great to be onboard. NB: I started using Webroot when Norton 360 was chewing my PC's CPU and disk capacity a number of years ago. Cheers, Ari
Hello! I hope you all are doing fine today! Well, about 3 or 4 years ago I gave Webroot a pretty thorough testing, but back then it Repeatedly Quibbled with one of the Very Most Important programs on my PC:: AutoHotkey (aka: “AHK”), and it became such an annoyance that it eventually seemed necessary to look elsewhere. Then in just the last couple days, I happened across some articles that discussed Webroot in a very positive light . . . So I thought I needed, once again, to test whether Webroot had become friends with AHK. And . . . after many hours of testing, I thankfully have not heard one peep of complaint from my new antivirus! SO, here I am! Hopefully this time it will be for a Long Time! Chuck
I am curious if there is a surefire way to know if someone can be looking into anything what I do enternally. I think I understand how the social networks work and how the world can see those communiques but, how about peeking into my office. I have a WAP network with password but wondered if someone breached that defense would I be exposed to someone looking at my files. Each computor has its own password so I am mostly concerned with shared files. My first comuputer was a Victor 9000 dual density/dual floopy business computor which I still have and it works:) so hope I can be of help along the way. Bodo
Hi there....first time here....got this aggrevating error message what is the blue screen of death with bsod error 333 all about? also, new to windows 10...did the free upgrade...hmm..was that a mistake or not? I welcome your humble opinions..thanks!
I just receved webroot as my anti malware protector. Does it really stop a trojan or even worse from invading my computr? A second concern. If I download from utube will it protect the computer from attached malware?
