I am not new to Webroot but I am new to the Community. I have been very satisfied with the product, no disabling virus attachs since I started using the product. That is huge to me and I will not change unless something happens going forward. I just renewed my subscription for 3yrs.

New on the forum and glad to join! I have Windows 8.1. I have been "infected" by the delta-home and sweet-page search pages which appear respectively on Chrome and Internet Explorer respectively at startup of the browsers (apparently from the Conduit company). These home pages appear at startup independently of the startup pages defined in the browsers. It seems very difficult to get read of them (even by setting up other search pages and removing the delta-home and sweet-page programs). These search pages are not recognized as malware by Webroot or any other AV I have been using. I think this is unfortunate because this Conduit softwares are a real pain. Any solution ?

Hi, I guess forgot my manners. Let me introduce myself. I'm Amit. I love to study Science and the art of fighting. I'm from Parallel Universe. I change my setup as I wish. I've tried nearly every security app out there in the last few years. I'm a kind of selfish. I don't like to help others like teaching them or guiding them. I like to learn from others. Take their knowledge and fill my bowl of knowledge even more. Well that's all. Have a nice day! Best Wishes, Amit
My name is Debra (Last name removed). This is the first time I've been on here and am in need of some guidance. I'm pretty sure this is the wrong board but I really don't know where to put it so here goes. I was updating Password Manager, regrouping everything. All the groups were as I wanted them except for the information for all my emails is gone. Is there any way to retrieve the information? Thank you.......
I am a recent subscriber to Webroot. For years I had been with AVG (paid version). Initially, they gave good service. As so many 'good starters', this, too morphed in to another venue. Very disappointed, I searched for an alternative. A not so good experience with one, encouraged me to try Webroot. Two computers, a laptop and desktop. Well secured, and once established, all is running seamlessly. This is what it should be. Set it up, and forget it, trust, and feel secure that all is well. I got in to 'computers' with a Kaypro, CPM OS in the 80's. Not many can identify with this. I went from CPM, to DOS, to Windows etc etc, through XP which I loved, dodging the dogs (Vista, Millenium) etc., and now settled well in to WIN7. I was part of the BB ( bulletin board) sharing, in the early years, and belonged to a Kaypro Users group in Anchorage, Alaska. Got on the Internet in Compuserve years, loved Netscape and con
I have worked in this industry for years, not wanting to reveal too much. I am moved to action when a product comes along that I can support without resevation, to users, the source of my being here. I have managed large and small, I like small and the hands on - I dislike being lost in the crowd in large. I like to think I make good decisions and give good advice - but that is for my peers to decide - I can only talk, or write. Computers/Networking were my hobby and now they are my job - I am a current Hobby Hunter. I have always been successful in Jobs I have had - have been hired with a handshake, no interviews, and had a customer following as an outside tech that followed me after I took my first inside corporate job. I weaned them off as I needed to have a life. When a user asks where to take their pc to get it fixed, I have no reply. If I cant fix it throw it away. Since I fix all my own, what would you say? I nev
During a routine update to a program that we use everyday Webroot determined something was wrong & stopped the update. This either caused the program to uninstall from our computer or Webroot uninstalled it. We had to contact and pay for After Hours Support for the program to get it reinstalled. How can we make sure that Webroot knows that this is a trusted program?
