The answer is 'YES' and very much so, and has been for all versions of Windows stretching way back...glad to hear that you have ditched McAfee and joined the Webroot Family.

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!
Also to add I would use the McAfee removal Tool as it leaves behind allot of junk, even after uninstall you can run it: http://service.mcafee.com/faqdocument.aspx?id=TS101331
