I just switched to Webroot from Kapersky. When I did a full scan with Kapersky it scanned almost 1,000,000 items and it took about 35 minutes. When I do a scan now with Webroot it only scans about 8-9000 items. Can someone please explain to me why such a discrepancy.
Thanks,
Bmeister

Hi Again I didn't mean to be so brief with my previous post but would you take a look at these videos which explains Webroot even more. You have all this working in the background for you.

Hi bmeister

Welcome to the Community Forums.

I made the same switch a number of years ago (and have never regretted it...in fact I have congratulated myself for doing so on many occasions  since...:D).

And it is interesting to see that another of the originally unique features of WSA; the Cloud-based determinations, etc., is now being copied by the other security app vendors left, right & centre...first Panda, then Symantec, and it will not stop there...but I believe that whilst WSA was engineered from the ground up (given its PrevX heritage) to work in & with the Cloud, all these other products are being adapted to do this and so will never match the power & protection of WSA.

Enjoy...:D

Regards, Baldrick
