I have three computers on my WR license.  I am retiring two of them and need to remove the WR coverage from them and then install WR on the two new ones.  Surprisingly, I cannot find any information on the WR "Info" search field on how to do this.  Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.  I'd appreciate any help on how to go about doing the above tasks.  Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Please follow below:

To Deactivate a PC in the online console:

Log into your Account Console using an Admin login.

In the main Console screen and select PC Security:

Select the PC you want to deactivate:

Select the Commands Tab:

Select Deactivate:

Then you can reinstall Webroot on the other two computers.

Please follow the steps below closely in terms of installing WSA on the target system/machine!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • Be sure you have or add your Keycode to your Online Console: Webroot SecureAnywhere Online Console
  • KEEP the computer online during the install to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Geek Squad Subscription PC users click HERE). Let us know if it is the Mac version you need
  • Install with the new installer, entering your Keycode when prompted to do so in the install process
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot
Hope this helps?
