I believe I have been a person of a scam. About a week and a half ago I got I message on my computer while I was using my computer and could not remove the computer got locked up. I did not know what to do so I called the number in the message and they introduced themselves as A Geek Solutions. They got me soi fustrated and confused. They told me only they could help me and Microsoft could not and they would not release my computer and only they can...I went back and forth and wound up paying therm $184...I need to know what I can do about my accounts, etc how do I file against them etc.
Thank you.

Hello @ and Welcome to the Webroot Community Forum.
Yes that was a scam. If you let that company do a remote on your computer you will have to change ALL Passwords on ALL Accounts including the password to your computer if you use one.
Also watch all your financial accounts for any changes.
Shut down the infected computer immediately and contact Webroot Support.
  • Do not try to remove any files or programs, especially Webroot.
  • Do not try to recover anything for now. You don't want to risk further damage.
  • Wait until you've spoken with Support.
Sorry the right name of the company is A Grade Solutions
