Phone Scam

Yesterday I had a call telling me that the tower we recently had repaired was about to crash unless I let them help me fix it.
I let them convince me to download their program and was about to turn over control of our system to them when I finally could not convince myself that they were legitimate and I ended the phone/chat conversation.
Now I am concerned about the program that I downloaded and feel it may be potentially harmfull to our system.
I ran a webroot scan and it found nothing.
However, I am still concerned and would like help searching for what ever may be lingering in our system.
The program seemed legitimate at first since they knew so much about our computer. I wish I would have written the name down.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
I have searched the downloads and can find nothing.
Is there any other way to  locate and clean the download from our system?
We are an old married couple, (59 years), way out in the sticks in NE Iowa (Gods country)  and need all the help we can get.
Thank you.

To get a free security check because your a paid customer please Submit a Support Ticket and ask them to look into your system to see if they find anything and they will let you know and you can have a piece of mind that everything is fine! And yes there so many scams out there and you have to be very careful: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Security-Industry-News/Don-t-fall-for-phone-phishing-scams/m-p/135075#M7482 and here: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Security-Industry-News/Anatomy-of-a-scam-how-phone-frauds-harvest-millions-from-us/m-p/295485#M35245
