Credit card has been charged for early self-renewal but no renewal was received. What can I do?

Hello, I need some assistance on the following situation please.

Today, I have decided to renew my subscription early by following the promotional link sent to my email. However, after I typed in my personal details and credit card details and pressed "Buy" nothing happened. Then, a minute later, I was alerted that my credit card I typed in has been charged for USD49.99. Now, I still have not received any renewal of my subscription. No email confirmation was sent to me either. So, I sent a message to Technical Support, hoping that they would help me sort out this situation. (Please note that I live in Southeast Asia and hence calling customer support in the U.S. would cost me a lot of money)

Now, I am still waiting. But, I also have another questions. Should I call my credit card company to cancel the first transaction and try to purchase again? I am very worried about this, can you please give me some insight about this issue?
