I am getting this error for webroot I can get it started if I press the F8 key on boot and disable the driver signing but soon as I reboot again I have the same problem. How can I fix it so web root will run with out hitting F8 everytime?
Lately my firefox browser has been acting up, so I decided to refresh it (delete all add-ons and user data). However in doing so my webroot filter extention (add-on) for firefox was deleted. I’ve looking all over to find a way to reinstall the add-on, but haven’t found any way to reinstall the add-on.
I rarely “sign-in” to my.webrootanywhere.com, but attempted to do so today, after renewing my subscription. When entering my username/email and password, I am then asked to enter an “Authentication Code”. I cannot locate an “Authentication Code” anywhere. I have a “security code”, a “product keycode”, but I do not recall ever having an “Authentication Code”. As far as I recall, I never set up 2-factor-authentication (and if I did, I do not receive an email or text with a code after entering my username and password). Please advise as to how I might resolve this issue. Thank you.
bbbjg448 Fresh Face 2 replies 2 minutes ago I was directed to put a follow up on wsalogs.exe. I tried locating that to follow up on last night’s concern but couldn’t get on but was directed to a security product called REASON and they did a complete scan and told me I am ok in all areas except Privacy. Please help me understand all this. Thanks, Allan
Active connections list contains .exes that are not running anymore, and it acts like a firewall whitelist for those .exes, allowing them to connect to the internet even though i have the “allow to connecting only if explicitly allowed” option checked. How do I reset it?
A couple months ago some of my steam games like Garry’s Mod and Unturned have had problems finding community servers, I checked if it was the Windows firewall, the Hardware, Steam itself, but I couldn’t find any solution even after redownloading Windows, so the only remaining thing I believe might be interfering with Steam is Webroot. I have seen some posts online about Webroot being overprotective, and so I decided to check to see if maybe Webroot is blocking Steam, but when I checked it to no avail, but personally I still believe it might have something to do with Webroot, anyone know a solution for this?
So when I log in to Webroot to activate my subscription, I can do it and get logged in, but then Webroot logs me out and takes me right back to the log in screen (this occurs in less than a second) and webroot security isn’t activated on my computer yet.
I can no longer access the email address I used to create my account, and I forgot my Webroot password. So the “forgot password” link is useless since I will not receive the email with instructions to reset the password. I tried opening a support ticket, but it took six days to get a response, which was to call tech support. I tried that, but was on hold for more than an hour before giving up. So I have no access to the software. And when it auto renews later this year, I won't be able to stop it since I can’t access my account. What am I supposed to do to access my account?
Hello, I need some assistance on the following situation please. Today, I have decided to renew my subscription early by following the promotional link sent to my email. However, after I typed in my personal details and credit card details and pressed "Buy" nothing happened. Then, a minute later, I was alerted that my credit card I typed in has been charged for USD49.99. Now, I still have not received any renewal of my subscription. No email confirmation was sent to me either. So, I sent a message to Technical Support, hoping that they would help me sort out this situation. (Please note that I live in Southeast Asia and hence calling customer support in the U.S. would cost me a lot of money) Now, I am still waiting. But, I also have another questions. Should I call my credit card company to cancel the first transaction and try to purchase again? I am very worried about this, can you please give me some insight about this issue? Thank you so much in advance for any reply and suggestion.
A few days ago I noticed that my webroot subscription was about to run out, so I clicked the renew button in the webroot app and renewed it. I heard it could take a few days or even until the current subscription runs out. So far it’s been 2 days and it still says my subscription is about to run out, and when I look at the app again the renew button is gone. I don’t know if I’m missing something or if it’s supposed to take a long time to update.
Hi All. I bought webroot thinking I could schedule a custom scan, but it looks like webroot cant do this, so I am looking for a work around. I have an external storage device, that I wanted to schedule scans for. Unless I am missing something, it looks like you cant save a custom scan, so you can schedule it. Is there some way to create a schedule of custom locations? OR, as a thought on an alternative; I do see where you can right click on a location, and then click “Scan with Webroot”. Is there a way to take the “right click to Scan with Webroot”, a step further, and create a bat file, to execute a webroot scan on a location? If the scan could be initiated by a bat file, or some other recomended means like that; then maybe that means could be set on a task scheduler job Ultimately, I need a way to set a schedule for scanning mapped drives or UNC Paths. Looking for any creative work around, to make that happen with Webroot. Thanks Dan.
I just installed WSA on two Android devices and did initial scans on them. When I go to the WSA website on my PC, the home page shows that I have 2 devices protected. However, when I click on the Mobile Security button, either on the tab line or the button within Mobile Security box, it brings me to a page where all I see is this: There is nothing else on the page. No menu icon, no tabs at the top. Nothing. I clicked on the X but it is unresponsive. All I can do is to use the back button to navigate back to the home page. How can I have the Mobile Security page display the two mobile android devices that I installed WSA and that the home page shows that they are protected?
I purchased Webroot about a week ago. Everytime I try to run a scan, my computer blue screens. The dump files don’t mean a whole lot to me but do confirm that WRSA.exe is the offending process. I’ve sent a couple of messages to Webroot support but have yet to hear anything back. Does anyone have any ideas of what may cause this or should I just ask for a refund?
