webroot.mobiusworks.com No Longer Active?
Apologies if this has been discussed, I cannot find anything on it. We usually use https://webroot.mobiusworks.com/user/site_agreements for our ConnectWise integration, to sync users to agreements. However, now when I try to do a sync, mobius times out. Is there a new site that I need to visit to sync? Thank you.
Really Long Full Scan
I have had my webroot for a while and it used to take between 2 minutes and right at 3 to finish a Full Scan. Since yesterday, it now takes between 11 - even once 20 minutes, and Im unsure why, I have had my computer checkout by Geek Squad, and it is clean by thier standards and they did a "Tune Up" but my webroot still is doing 11 - 15 minutes or more per scan. It never catches anything when it scans, also it renews for me on the 16th of October thought I dont know if that matters. The only other thing I can mention is, I make profiles and moved a lot of widgets and stuff saving and then moving them to a new image hosting site, but I did remove all of them and cleaned up as best as I could to my knowledge.
01July2019 auto-update to 220.127.116.11 on WinXP - Manual Scans Now Take 5 Times Longer
Hi Folks, We are talking here about a rarely used but clean Windows XP docked ThinkPad with a platter HDD. Manual WSA deep-full scans used to take only 5.5 minutes for many years up thru and including PC Agent Version 18.104.22.168 ..... that would be yesterday July 1, 2019. Yesterday, immediately following an "auto-update" to PC Agent Version 22.214.171.124 and reboot, the same 40,000 file manual deep-full scans are now taking 26.5 minutes ... about 5 times longer and seem to pause mostly now on dll files. There were no changes to the ThinkPad before or after the update from yesterday. Today, after several more manual deep-full scans the time remains the same at 26+ minutes and the reports show the unit is clean. I've always disabled autoscans .... just manual scans each time this ThinkPad is used.... plus, also for many years, manual-only scans with both MalwareBytes Free v126.96.36.1992 (the last version supporting Windows XP) and SUPERAntiSpyware Free. Again, this is a rarely used Windows
Hi, I've ran the uninstaller in the control panel but it doesn't seem to have removed webroot. There is no "webroot" folder in program files. Instead, I have C:\Program Files\eEHyHVor. There are 2 files in "eEHyHVor". They are "lkfnejMY.exe" and "WRSkyClientConnect.x86.dll". There seems to be 1 service running "WRSVC". I'm not able to stop it.
What is trying to delete my C: drive?
When I log in to my laptop, I get a message asking me for admin permission in order to delete the folder named "OS". Other than the fact that I haven't explicitly tried to delete anything, "OS" is the volume name of my C: drive. What is attempting to delete "OS" and why? My Webroot scans are coming up clean. Webroot Firewall vs Win 7 Pro Firewall
Recently I've run into problems with downloads freezing my system, especially from Steam but also from NVIDIA. In one case, it appeared that Windows 7 Pro firewall was blocking Steam's downloader from accessing the Internet by just freezing my system every time Steam tried to download and apply a patch. Yesterday a one-hour download took me all day to acquire. Finally, Windows told me what it was up to and I found a work-around. I've seen some prior comments on this forum that the two systems are complementary and should both be ON, but the latest was five years ago, so I'm wondering if that's still true. It appears the Windows firewall has a lot of options to control inbound, outbound, etc. What I need is detailed advice on how to set up their system to work best with yours and avoid excess interference with my daily activities.

Hi, I've been using Webroot SecureAnywhere for 10 days, and I've for an external disk that infected with auto-run malware, which I am used to clean it with antivirus I was using without name, now after scanning with SecureAnywhere, it gave me 59 infected files and I choose to remove them at all, and after removal successed it fave me recheck if there is any other infected files and again it checks for malwares and found 11 infected files and did as previous, and this is the forth time it founds 11 infected files but at this time it didn't do the removal as previous, but alert me as screenshot following, what I can do in this case?! Really it is a bad experience in first trial before switching!
Unlinking Webroot Accounts, I think?
Firstly, thank you for attention to this. Well, some years ago my mother and I purchased laptops and got Webroot at the same time. Now I don't exactly remember the details of it all, but I've had it on auto-renew for her and I would just renew when the time came. So I eventually get a new card and forgot about the auto-renewal, and now it's showing a red icon in my tray since my mother's protection has lapsed. Now, she no longer uses her laptop, so I won't be renewing it....but is there a way to 'separate' our accounts so that I don't have to see it? Honestly it's a little confusing since it's TWO separate renewals. Even in the "PC Security" section, only my devices are shown. Is there anything I can do?
Hello, I am wondering if it is safe to port foward with Webroot, because me and my friend are trying to do stuff and are using an external vpn that has worked in the past, LogMeln Hamachi, and for some reason now its not working, if i could have a staff member help me out by answering this question that will be great, i dont want to put my IP and WIFI at risk by port forwarding through websites and since this port forward is through an anti virus, I dont know if this is safer than through a website, so again it will be much appreciated if a staff member could answer this. Best regards, Mark
Is Webroot protect outlook attachments?
Hi, Iam new to Webroot and hope ensure some aspects of this solution before switch from current one used. I want to get Webroot Secure Everywhere and want to ensure if it protects emails reach outlook app from malicious in attachments by installing plug in or such that? And is the Endpoint for business do that too? I need to make a decision if this is suitable for me or not since using outlook as email client for business email and sometimes receive spam mails attached with malicious files Thank you in advance
toolbarfix.exe can't find Firefox
Webroot Toolbar stopped working on Firefox x64 v66.0.5. I have reinstalled Webroot antivirus and used the desktop toolbarfix.exe but I still cannot get the extension to be visible in the tools/add-ons folder. While running toolbarfix.exe I noticed that the Firefox browser was not detected (only IE). LastPass is working perfectly but I don't have Webroot protection on my browser. Any fixes for this? (Windows 10 Pro build 17763 )
Renewal was due, and the email received wanted to charge me full price. I found a cheaper deal, and activated the keycode on my control panel. However, Webroot are still trying to charge me for the automatic renewal (my bank blocked it) and sending me warning emails that I need to renew. I've tried using the contact support on this website, I enter my email address and hit continue, it then says "we have already had contact with -my email address-" "Please enter your password below if you wish to continue with your previous conversation. Your password will have been previously emailed to you." I enter in my password, and it just stays on that screen. I know my password is correct as I can still use the console on the website. I've no idea why it says they've already had contact either, as I've not spoken with support for at least a couple of years.
Opera updates often blocked by Webroot
I do not know what's different and it's not every update, but often when Opera updates and I go to run it I get this error message. The error message "fixes" were useless as it turns out Webroot is somehow blocking the program. I have confirmed that Webroot is the offender as I can run Opera just fine when I shut down protection. I have a Galaxy S7 using version 184.108.40.206787 of the Webroot Security Anywhere app. The persistent status shield in the notification bar and the token on the app icon will not go away. Also, there is no option in the General Setting to disable this. This started after an update, so I figure it was a glitch. When I tried reinstalling the app nothing changed. If this is intentional, please change this. If it is not, does anyone know how to fix this issue without disabling notifications as a whole?
