webroot removal or update keycode
Hello all, I am fairly new to webroot, and just lately have been deploying 200 computers more or less with webroot. My problem is that: [list=1] [*] Deployment of webroot went great. (webroot installed). [*]keycode didn't get registered. The deployment script was missing a "/" before KEY= [*]I cannot see the agent/client on our web console. [*]I can only manually remove / add new keycode or remove the software. [/list] My questions is then, isn't there a way to "deploy" an keycode update towards all of my clients? without using the web console, since none of the 200 laptops showed up, because the keycode wasn't registered due to a typo in the deployment script. How ever - i have tried running: C:\Program Files (x86)\Webroot\WRSA.exe" -uninstall - from our software distribution "software. But this doesn't start the uninstallation. I can do it manually, but have to enter a CAPTCHA code. But then I need to go manually through them all anyway??! Haven't webroot create
Bad Computer Slowdowns When Connected over a VPN
We do lots of work with remote networks that use a VPN for connection. I've noticed that when we do utilize a slower VPN, the PC performance goes to crap. Everything, even the simplist things such as right-clicking a file, or opening an RDP file take extra long, but it almost seems a bit random. If I shut-down WebRoot protection, performance returns. I can only assume WebRoot is trying to route traffic through the VPN, but the fact that there's such a slowdown, just simply because the network connection is poor is a bit concerning for me. Is there any way to tell WebRoot to either delegate to the base network connection, or potentially hold off on much of it's network activity when a VPN app or network connection is established?
Webroot Renewal and Charge problem
I renewed my webroot subscription 5 days ago via bestbuy, which is where I first got the subscription. However, it still shows up as expired on my webroot status interface. How do I fix this problem? Also, on the order summary that I printed out after paying for the renewal. It states "Please Note: This charge will appear on your credit card statement as "GEEKSQUAD RENEW.....". I have not received the charge on my bank statement since. Should I wait a few days for the charge to appear or should I call the customer support number that is on the summary?

I've tried numerous times via the following means: -desktop app ('Get Customer Support') -Internet home page ('open a support ticket') -directly from the 'contact Webroot support page' Ea. time, I keep getting stuck in an endless loop, where I eventually end up at a 'Welcome Back!' page, that says, 'we have already had contact with , it asks for my password, I enter my password, hit continue but nothing happens. With regards to my issue, I would like to know if the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (downloaded directly from Intel), is truly a threat vs. a false alarm.
I need to whitelist/override two locations for the Mdaemon localcache but not sure about the override settings to just whitelist the localcache file. Is the correct File Mask: LocalCache.* Path Mask: %AllUsersProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Alt-N\Outlook Connector 2.0\Accounts\Outlook\email@example.com or: %AllUsersProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Alt-N\Outlook Connector 2.0\Accounts\Outlook\ - with subfolders selected, in this case it need to only override the localcache file since there is an attachment folder which we do not want to override. and: %AllUsersProfile%\Documents\Outlook Files or just: %AllUsersProfile%\ - would this catch the entire profile to include the two locations above? I appreciate any help with this.
incognito/private supported ?
Hello., This is regarding mobile security on android, i would like to know if there is a way to block specific sites when using incognito/private browser mode ? My app update has created a problem with the scan and now gives me a warning icon
I updated my phone app for the Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile and also the SecureWeb app, and as soon as I did, I began to get the yellow warning that my scan was out of date. I got to manually run the scan and the yellow section on the left of the progress bar just sits there at a sliver size, then the swirling circle appears and it says scan complete and everything is protected, my app page is nice and green and everything looks normal. Until I go back to the main screen which gives me the yellow icon that warns that my scan is old as of right now. So, what do I do to fix it? Help!!!!

Not using password manager causes red "action required" box
I don't use password managers. Today one of my webroot-protected computers has a red exclamation point in the system notification area, and the webroot app says all is well except "Action Required: New Password Manager". I can't find any way to make it happy (short of signing up for password management, I suppose).

FireFox & Password Manager Toolbar Fix?
[user=57051]freydrew[/user] , Will Firefox have the Password Manager toolbar fixed as it has not been working for months. Just wondering since now LasssPass in the Password Mangement is being worked on I was wondering if this was in the Agenda anytime soon? Thank you!
Transfer to LastPass
We have been advised that Webroot Password Manager has moved over to LastPass but are there issues with their website as it has not transferred our Password Manager details. I have registered a new account and the prompt from the Webroot PM did not allow me to log in with our existing details. It has copied details from Chrome but not Internet Explorer. Can anyone help? Also, I'm trying to extract the password information from Webroot but on the Webroot website when I log in, keep showing as "preparing". Hiren
Who or where do I send logs of a possible threat for analysis?
I have a possible threat on my android device that has been suspiciously, and persistently running in the background. The app appears to take the name 'abracadabra' and I have no idea nor information about it. Can someone please direct me to the the proper channels (an email address perhaps) for help in analyzing the logs I have collected from my device. Thank you!
gmail download issues
when i try to download any document in my Gmail i get "gmail virus scanners are temporarily unavailable" i ran my Webroot scan it cleared my computer rebooted the computer emptied my trash my mac has the latest Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6 is this a gmail issue or in my computer? any suggestions?
