Webroot Renewal and Charge problem
I renewed my webroot subscription 5 days ago via bestbuy, which is where I first got the subscription. However, it still shows up as expired on my webroot status interface. How do I fix this problem? Also, on the order summary that I printed out after paying for the renewal. It states "Please Note: This charge will appear on your credit card statement as "GEEKSQUAD RENEW.....". I have not received the charge on my bank statement since. Should I wait a few days for the charge to appear or should I call the customer support number that is on the summary?

Not using password manager causes red "action required" box
I don't use password managers. Today one of my webroot-protected computers has a red exclamation point in the system notification area, and the webroot app says all is well except "Action Required: New Password Manager". I can't find any way to make it happy (short of signing up for password management, I suppose).
An error has occurred while contacting the LastPass server. Please try again later.
This has been happening since I tried to create the new Last Pass password hijacker, I mean manager. Will this be amended ? The blasted last Pass server, when you DO get on won't process the transfer due to memory issues ? 12.0 GB not good enough ?

Trying to resurrect PC
My son has a PC that is infected with possibly multiple malware. He'd like to restore into some kind of working order to retrieve data and apps. There's an antivirus program already installed called OpenCloud, which seems to be misbehaving. Unable to shut it off to let Webroot do its thing. Assuming OpenCloud is part of the problem. Original Windows disks probably discarded years ago.
01July2019 auto-update to 188.8.131.52 on WinXP - Manual Scans Now Take 5 Times Longer
Hi Folks, We are talking here about a rarely used but clean Windows XP docked ThinkPad with a platter HDD. Manual WSA deep-full scans used to take only 5.5 minutes for many years up thru and including PC Agent Version 184.108.40.206 ..... that would be yesterday July 1, 2019. Yesterday, immediately following an "auto-update" to PC Agent Version 220.127.116.11 and reboot, the same 40,000 file manual deep-full scans are now taking 26.5 minutes ... about 5 times longer and seem to pause mostly now on dll files. There were no changes to the ThinkPad before or after the update from yesterday. Today, after several more manual deep-full scans the time remains the same at 26+ minutes and the reports show the unit is clean. I've always disabled autoscans .... just manual scans each time this ThinkPad is used.... plus, also for many years, manual-only scans with both MalwareBytes Free v18.104.22.1682 (the last version supporting Windows XP) and SUPERAntiSpyware Free. Again, this is a rarely used Windows
My app update has created a problem with the scan and now gives me a warning icon
I updated my phone app for the Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile and also the SecureWeb app, and as soon as I did, I began to get the yellow warning that my scan was out of date. I got to manually run the scan and the yellow section on the left of the progress bar just sits there at a sliver size, then the swirling circle appears and it says scan complete and everything is protected, my app page is nice and green and everything looks normal. Until I go back to the main screen which gives me the yellow icon that warns that my scan is old as of right now. So, what do I do to fix it? Help!!!!
Can't Download Files
Hi, I am unable to download files on my laptop and could not find an answer in the forums. I have Webroot on my desktop computer and an older Asus laptop and it operates trouble-free. However, on my new Acer laptop, I am unable to download any files. The download tab indicates "Failed - Virus Scan Failed." This is immediately apparent with small files, such as images. With larger files, such as podcasts, the download appears to progress normally, with the timer counting down: 3 minutes remaining, 2 minutes remaining, 1 minute remaining, etc. until the end at which point the Failed tab pops up. I followed Windows instructions to be certain that the Internet Settings were not hindering this. No other virus or protection programs are active on the computer that I am aware of, including Windows Defender. Can someone please tell me if Webroot is blocking these downloads, and if so, how to correct this. Your help would be greatly appreciated. The inability do download any
Renewal was due, and the email received wanted to charge me full price. I found a cheaper deal, and activated the keycode on my control panel. However, Webroot are still trying to charge me for the automatic renewal (my bank blocked it) and sending me warning emails that I need to renew. I've tried using the contact support on this website, I enter my email address and hit continue, it then says "we have already had contact with -my email address-" "Please enter your password below if you wish to continue with your previous conversation. Your password will have been previously emailed to you." I enter in my password, and it just stays on that screen. I know my password is correct as I can still use the console on the website. I've no idea why it says they've already had contact either, as I've not spoken with support for at least a couple of years.
Who or where do I send logs of a possible threat for analysis?
I have a possible threat on my android device that has been suspiciously, and persistently running in the background. The app appears to take the name 'abracadabra' and I have no idea nor information about it. Can someone please direct me to the the proper channels (an email address perhaps) for help in analyzing the logs I have collected from my device. Thank you!
toolbarfix.exe can't find Firefox
Webroot Toolbar stopped working on Firefox x64 v66.0.5. I have reinstalled Webroot antivirus and used the desktop toolbarfix.exe but I still cannot get the extension to be visible in the tools/add-ons folder. While running toolbarfix.exe I noticed that the Firefox browser was not detected (only IE). LastPass is working perfectly but I don't have Webroot protection on my browser. Any fixes for this? (Windows 10 Pro build 17763 )
