I have the Win32.localinfect.2 on my computer but it won't come off
I have the Win32.localinfect.2 on my computer but it won't come off. I’m 14 years old on an expensive PC my dad built, I’m using WebRoot antivirus but for some reason when I try to delete it with this antivirus it sort of like, adds more virus files to my PC, please please help me because from the research I've done the antivirus should do the work and this virus can be very very dangerous later on if I don’t do something about it.

How do I remove the Webroot Filtering Extension from Firefox?
The Webroot Filtering Extension is crashing tabs in Firefox 80.0.1; however, I can’t remove/uninstall the add-on even if I uninstall Webroot completely. I can’t remove it in the new Edge browser either. Also, how can I stop Webroot from managing Firefox and other browsers after I uninstall it from my system?
Big Problems with WRCoreService & WRSkyClient Services
Folks,Lost my last post...your website does not lke disagreeable comments maybe. At any rate, I had to disable the two services cited in my topic, else you get a tremendous slow down at the login screen and reaching the desktop can increase your login time to desktop anywhere from 5 times to 10 times longer.I am leaving them disabled for the time being until this issue is resolved within Webroot. I am still keeping the main WRSV running as my main protection. That service does not cause any issues. My system is a dual Xeon with 384GB of DDR4 RAM and two Seagate Enterprise SSDs. Graphics card is a Nvidia Quadro P1000.Chris

Webroot taking up a lot of resources on my PC and slowing it down but can kill the process
The reason I chose Webroot over other anti-virus software is because supposedly, it’s not a resource hog. The past couple of days my hard drive is spinning non-stop and the culprit appears to be Webroot. I was not able to kill the Webroot processes or uninstall the software as Windows is telling me I don’t have Administrator’s privilege although I had no issue uninstalling other software. I’m running Windows 10. When I opened the Webroot console, it freezes whenever I tried to make any change to the setting.
blacklisted website downloaded something on my pc and I can't find it
I was on the American Chemical Society website and a tab opened up by itself. I must have done something when I went to the tab because as soon as I did, something was downloaded to my computer and it went too fast for me to be able to see what it was or where it ended up. I searched the entire hard drive manually for everything that had a “date modified” of today around the time it happened. Nothing was suspicious except for a file that I “did not have permission to access,” but the file was empty and created in 2019. It said it was modified around the time the incident occurred. I couldn’t delete the file either because it said something in the file was open. I checked the task manager and it said nothing was open. Webroot did a scan and found nothing. What do I need to do?
Webroot Filtering - What flags creates a caution?
I am a web developer, 25 years in the industry. Webroot is giving off cautions on several of my sites today via Chrome or Firefox. Obviously, this is concerning for me. However, there is no further information other than, "this site may contain content that could affect your online security."I need to know *what* is causing this. When I looked under Webroot docs, it says, "These are generally benign sites, but have exhibited some characteristics that suggest security risk."My question is - what are the possible flags that suggested a security risk? As a developer, I need to know what third party scripts are setting off warnings in order to make my sites safe.I would love if the docs could be updated with a list. But more urgently, if someone could give me a collection of the flags that can set off the caution warning, that would be brilliant. All of these sites are new builds. I need to pinpoint the script that is not secure. Thanks in advance!
How to block porn with Webroot security anywhere?
I found that it doesn’t have any web monitoring features to block adult contents, category wise like Sophos home or Cold Turkey. But it is good for my aging pc. I am looking for security which doesn’t slow my already slow pc with porn blocking capability. Thanks. Please don’t recommend host file editing, google safe search, etc. They can be easily bypass. I want Cold Turkey like features in security software.
ibtsiva in system 32
Hey so my Intel Bluetooth (ibtsiva) is located in system 32 instead of program files I looked that up and apparently it's a virus in disguise. I want to make sure that this is not true, and if it is what do I do? Webroot has not detected it as a virus, but I'm asking here just to be safe. Thank you.
Computer asks to save random file after logging back in from sleep mode
Hello,I’ve had this long running problem (for about 2 years) where a “save as” dialog box appears on my laptop after I log back in after it’s been asleep asking me to save a file of unknown type (the box only gives me the option to save it as an “all files” type). I figure it’s some sort of virus, but I don’t know what it’s trying to accomplish. I never save the file and always choose “cancel,” but I don’t know what will make it stop and whether my laptop is compromised in any way. To be sure, the dialog box appears despite not having chosen to download anything either before or after my laptop went to sleep - it appears randomly. I’ve included an image below of the “save as” dialog box in case it helps. Also, I’m using a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro running on Windows 10 with an active Webroot Internet Security Plus subscription which I’ve had for about 4 years. Any help as to how to resolve this problem would be much appreciated, thank you!

Missing C:\Program Files\Webroot\Core\WRCore.x64.sys file
Hello I was checking my Windows 10 home pc using the Sysinternal Autoruns64.exe which check for registry items and found that the following registry key exist HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\WRCore but the file C:\Program Files\Webroot\Core\WRCore.x64.sys is missing ? What can cause this behavior ? I have uninstall and reinstalled webroot but to no avail? It still says that WRCore.x64.sys is missing I then check the folder C:\Program Files\Webroot and found that there is no sub folder C:\Program Files\Webroot\Core Could this registry key be caused by an old installation of Webroot?
Customer support is non responsive and software is buggy
On July 16 I sent a message detailing how webroot was not deleting files properly and had eliminated my ability to have windows do the job. No response. Sent 2nd message on July 17th. No response. Sent third message and tried to call support. waited on support line for 17 minutes, no response. Is there some way I can shut off this non-functioning “feature”? And has anyone figured out how to get a response from Webroot?
Google Chrome detected as a virus?
So, I started up my computer like usual and opened google chrome. Except I couldn’t? It was detected as unsafe by both windows firewall and webroot, webroot quickly gave a notification to uninstall the program. I believe it was along the lines of Win- something? I believe 32 and gave the path file of the apparent malware file. I have no downloaded anything on my computer besides discord, steam, and some minecraft files. And google chrome itself. I downloaded malwarebytes for a scan, and it found nothing, and did an optimize with webroot and found nothing. I’ve uninstalled Google Chrome as I couldn’t even open the app anymore. I have no idea what happened. Any help?
