I need to remove webroot from a computer which I will no longer have. When I try to uninstall webroot it will always have a screen saying: “It is necessary to log in as an administrator to access this feature”. What procedures do I do in order for webroot to know that I’m the administrator which has permission to remove it? To top it off, I have automatic renewal for this service every March.

If this is a Windows based system, boot to safe mode and from there you can uninstall the program. Try going to control panel and Programs and Features, find Webroot and click remove. It might ask for a Captcha before permitting removal.
After that you should remove the WRCore and WRData folders located under ProgramData (this is a hidden folder. You’ll need to turn on visibility of hidden folders).
If you need to manually remove it (uninstall doesn’t work). Boot to safe mode:
Reboot
