Will my new subscription activate automatically when the old one expires?

Hi folks,

I’m a new user here in the Forum and this is my first post / request for help.

I’ve just purchased a renewal for my current Webroot subscription via the Webroot’s website, as I didn’t have auto-renewal option on. My current subscription will expire in 23 days (begin of august). I’m a Windows user (in case it matters). The key-code for my renewed subscription is the same as the one for my current subscription which is about to expire.

With this in mind:

[1]. Will my current subscription automatically renew for another year and activate itself now that I’ve purchased a 1-year extension?

[2]. If the answer to the previous questions is yes, will the automatic renewal happen on the last day of the current subscription?

[3]. If the answer to [1]. is no - no automatic renewal of the subscription - do I have to manually activate the renewal by logging into my account via the Webroot users account site ?

Could use some guidance.

Thanks in advance.

Miguel
