Please add “Send Feedback” button on the website console and in the Webroot SecureAnywhere app on Windows, Mac, Android, Apple iOS to gather ideas and experiences within Webroot software across the board.

The button should be as a dropdown when you press the ? mark at the top and under Support / Community tab in the apps. Button should be called “Send Feedback” and should navigate user to  https://community.webroot.com/ideas-28 or a new platform internally in Webroot that aggregates what is submitted (and development and support team and review and use in support and development) in https://community.webroot.com/ideas-28  and https://community.webroot.com/submit-a-business-feature-request-30 and  via the apps and console.

Google has implemented that with great success and they have even implemented some of my ideas into their products like Dark theme mode across their apps and websites.

Hi @meservo ,

I like your Send Feedback button idea. Just a note to let you know you can also vote for this idea of yours as well. 😉

Edited: I see you already did. 😊

@meservo and @Ssherjj,

I love this idea, but you’ll never see it. Here’s a post of mine on a previous thread that mentions this topic and why you won’t see it. Reading the whole post will give you a better understanding, but the part about feedback is in the last paragraph.

Hi @NicCrockett ,

No I apologize for not remembering this in this excellent post. You always have such great information and responses and ideas that seem to get overlooked. 😫

Thanks @Ssherjj, but I understand. There’s plenty of great threads and posts on the community by a number of people, like this idea from @meservo. It’s not a bad idea, its just highly unlikely to be on the top of their roadmap. You have to also remember that a year ago they were acquired by Carbonite and now they’ve just been acquired by OpenText. So, the change in management probably isn’t helping the dev team keep a clear path toward a common goal, let alone one that has our ideas in mind. Just for the record, you got my vote @meservo!

Sincerely,

NicCrockett

Well perhaps that will mean the eventual but slow demise of Webroot. Having a send feedback button is a great way to guage user satisfaction, discover new approaches and make great software. It also shows that Webroot listens.. Cant they just make a simple button called "Submit Feedback" tie it to this ideas forum and link aggregation software or platform that helps to aggregate and prioritize the best ideas?

@meservo,

I completely agree with you. However, Webroot has never appeared to feel this way since we started using them in 2014. A forum like this is how they want to make us feel like we have some say in their software design and implementation. The truth is they have their roadmap that the Product Overlords dictate and it and this forum seem to never overlap. Here’s one example of what I’m talking about, but you can review my posts on this forum to see that I’ve voiced a lot of issues with Webroot.

I agree but Im neutral because I know the other side of the situation. They pick what they can and can't do on reasons we aren't even aware of.

But I should think that a simple button  and better feedback platform will help them develop the best products and bring in more customer satisfaction and grow their client base. Simple sales math.

@meservo,

I agree with your simple math, I wish they did too. :grin:
