SUMMARY:
Search annotations in Google are missing when using Webroot Business Endpoint Protection.

STATUS:
Webroot is aware of this issue and is working towards resolution. Please be assured that the web filtering feature is fully functional and will continue to block malicious sites as designed.

The workaround is to use a different search engine other than Google.

DESCRIPTION:
When searches are conducted in Google, search annotations are missing. Search annotations are a feature of the web threat shield in Webroot SecureAnywhere that help users see if a link is allowed or blocked because it is malicious.

Search annotations are controlled by the Show safety ratings when using search engines policy setting under the Web Threat Shield. More information on policy settings is available here.

For more information about the annotations, see Understanding Filter Results.

PRODUCT INFORMATION:
All versions of Webroot Business Endpoint Protection.

ENVIRONMENT:
Whenever Google search is used.
