Hello - I already had Webroot but bought a new computer that came with Webroot in a package of other stuff. The sales guy said to not worry about it and just cancel it (the package) after one year before the annual subscription fee kicked in. Great. a couple of months before the subscription (with Webroot) that came with the computer expired, I paid my “normal” Webroot annual subscription. Great. Then a couple of months later I cancelled the package that came with the computer. Great, except I started getting a pop-up that says my Webroot subscription is cancelled and I need to renew. Not-Great. I called tech support and explained. They said do not worry, your original annual subscription is still good, valid and working. Great, however, since then I am still getting pop-ups from Webroot saying my subscription is expired and I need to renew now. So, my very long-winded question is: how the heck to I get the damn pop-up from continuing to tell me that my subscription is expired when in
Just curious how my subscription is handled if I add more devices than I purchased? Previous Antivirus SW just reduced the number of active days that I had left but allowed me to add as many as I needed. Does Webroot do the same? Or will I need to go purchase another subscription for additional devices?
CZUR Scanner, the client software of Windows platform developed by our company, has a blue screen of death when running on the user's computer installed webroot SecureAnywhere, and the user sent the system dmp file. Hi, I'm trying to install webroot, when I double click the installer, nothing happens. I've looked into the list of installed programs, and webroot is nowhere to be found, therefore there's nothing to uninstall. I've tried the installer 220.127.116.11 downloaded from other threads and had no luck. My operating system is Windows 10. Thank you

Hi folks,I’m a new user here in the Forum and this is my first post / request for help.I’ve just purchased a renewal for my current Webroot subscription via the Webroot’s website, as I didn’t have auto-renewal option on. My current subscription will expire in 23 days (begin of august). I’m a Windows user (in case it matters). The key-code for my renewed subscription is the same as the one for my current subscription which is about to expire.With this in mind:. Will my current subscription automatically renew for another year and activate itself now that I’ve purchased a 1-year extension? . If the answer to the previous questions is yes, will the automatic renewal happen on the last day of the current subscription?. If the answer to . is no - no automatic renewal of the subscription - do I have to manually activate the renewal by logging into my account via the Webroot users account site ? I have been using webroot for years and now suddenly I get a popup in the bottom right of the screen when I open any new page or even in my video game. It stays for a few seconds then slowly vanishes. it is NOT an information screen, it just shows a box of what webroot can do. It blocks needed info and I just don’t want to see it anymore. It started yesterday 7/13/22 I am on windows 10 if that makes any difference.
I opened a ticket 2 days ago and no one has responded. How long does it freakin take to get support?For the last 3 days when I try to connect to any VPN location I get IP ADDRESS: NOT DETECTED after about 20 seconds. I even uninstalled/reinstalled your crappy product. How do I get this fixed?
I just got a new laptop and I bought the webroot software online. I was sent an email with the key code and I set up my account. I tried to download the app and I am getting this error message “This app can not run on your PC” Can some please help me figure this out? I have used this before on other computers without a problem. Thank you
I got a notification that SecureAnywhere is being discontinued and being replaced with Webroot Mobile Security, I went through the new installation process where it removes the old app and installs the new. I didn't remove the old app (even though its not there) I'm still getting secureanywhere notifications to upgrade to the new app when I already have it on my phone. So I uninstalled the new one, set the permission to secureanywhere off and I'm still getting secureanywhere notification with no webroot app on my andriod phone. I hate the new app and it crashes often, telling me that in a notifiaction. I totally hate the new interface and what little control I have on my phone now. How can I totally remove it from my phone I no longer want to run the mobile app. I want it completely gone off my phone. I will still run the desktop app one since I like the easy interface and both my PC's are protecte
On May 22nd I started receiving messages from Microsoft...not Webroot...about a Trojan Virus on my computer. I called the 800 number on Webroot's page for support. I was directed to a company called TechVantedge. I ended up paying them $646 for assistance and the virus was still on my computer. I took my computer to someone here locally, and paid him almost $300 to clear up the problem. When I sent an inquiry to Webroot Support several weeks after that, I received a reply that Webroot provides free support to clear up viruses. I asked for a supervisor or someone in charge to contact me regarding the $646 I had spent. NO ONE has contacted me to date. I am about to cancel my Webroot and report them to the Attorney General's office.

I have had a Webroot account for years now, but each morning for about the last week when I start my Windows 10 PC, this popup appears telling me to “click here” to “create a NEW My Account.” Is this (late May 2022) popup even from Webroot? If it is, why am I being asked to create an account when I already have one (sounds highly suspicious to me)? If the popup is not from Webroot, what steps should I take to eradicate the little vermin? Thank you.
Renewing Webroot, I am told the fee is $39. Nowhere on the checkout page does it say this is USD. I am in Australia, so my card gets charged $59. To me this means one of two things. It’s either deceptive practice, as displaying the actual amount in the currency of the user would be a higher amount, which the company seemingly wants to avoid despite being the honest thing to do. Or, at the very least, it’s simply disrespectful. Is Webroot intended only for U.S. customers? If not, why not have the courtesy to display the amount in the user’s currency (as many respectful businesses do), or at least have the courtesy to state the currency of the displayed fee. Or do they think the whole world revolves around the U.S., and feel no need to think otherwise? I previously contacted support about this issue, and received a canned and completely inadequate response, so just to make things worse, the claims of good customer service are apparently empty claims.
My dad's had acct for years and passed away. I've been trying for 4 days to renew and get technical support. I'm completely computer illiterate. I've opened tickets and got no response. I found a phone # yesterday and spoke with someone claiming to be from Webroot. I gave them access to my computer and am supposed to speak with them again today. I have no idea if I got scammed and put multiple families at risk. Can someone please help!?
I purchased a package online 1 week ago. Have had problems from the get go. Opened a ticket almost immediately. No response whatsoever. Continued to ask questions in the same open ticket. Have asked 6 times. Yet ZERO response. Funnily enough, yesterday, received what looks like an automatic generated email asking me to review my recent purchase. Totally unsatisfactory and wish to get a complete refund as the the service is not only pathetic but the security package for 5 devices is only downloading to my computer as the mobile app is not even available in the country where I live. How to get a refund when the questions I’m asking are not even being answered? Consumer affairs? A very disgruntled customer. Singapore
All the information I’m finding online is telling me how to use the system optimizer, but I can’t find it in my program anywhere. I figure that’s probably because the version I bought doesn’t come with that feature, but I’m not sure and I don’t know how to check. Apparently it just disappeared for some people, too, which just makes me more confused 😅 I have version 18.104.22.168, and the line at the top of the window says CE 22.3, but I have no idea what either of those things mean or if they’re even relevant.Help?
