I can't access my account or my app. No email support anymore?
My Key Code no longer works My username and password no longer work to log into my account on the web or when trying to open the app. In fact, the app no longer opens and requests my key code and then rejects it. I tried to make a new account and I get a error message that the page doesn’t exist. My mobile app works and correctly verifies that my account is paid through spring of 2024. There seems to be no way to send an email request for support to Webroot/Carbonite and the knowledge base is of no help. BTW, I paused my VPN through these steps to no avail. My app is Webroot SecureAnywhere - CompleteAnyone out there that can provide guidance? Thank you in advance,Shiah
Secure Anywhere Mobile App Outdated
I recently purchased the premium version of this app on Android and just noticed it hasn't been updated since 2019. I have emailed support multiple times but have yet to receive a reply. Has this app reached EOL and if so is there a way I can be reimbursed or migrate my premium subscription over to the new Webroot app?
Webroot Total Security on android phone
The Total Security Complete App for my android phone is extremely difficult to manipulate and understand. It does not work anything like the Microsoft version. Not only does it look entirely different, but I cannot even figure out when the security expires.The old app which was somewhat different than the Microsoft version was much easier than the current app to navigate and fine information.With the new app you must add additional basic coverage such as password manager by totally resigning into that coverage although a basic coverage with the Total Security package.I ask why the change to the new app when the old one worked so much better and was easier to navigate. Please review and advise if this situation can be addressed.
Training videos not playing when Webroot is installed, need to whitelist url
I have a user who called in saying whenever they tried to play a video on a training site it wouldn’t play (they could skip ahead throughout the video but the play functionality appeared to be suspended), I fired up this page on a non Webroot computer and the video played just fine, after the uninstall process completed on the user’s computer they were able to play the videos. How do I whitelist this site for this customer?
Webroot MSP Report?
Hi, Is it possible to have something like a “MSP report“ instead of a report för every Site in Webroot?It would be much helpful if the reports could report several/all sites with information per Site.It’s tidious to have 1 report/site and the go throw these 1by1,Some Summerizes Reports would be very helpful...or maybe im missing something here?
Irritation from Webroot marketing
I opened SecureAnywhere this evening to find that the usual cheerful green color of the app had turned into a sort of diarrhea brown.The app is giving me a dire warning that if my webroot expires then I will not be protected from all the ills of the world.It tells me my subscription runs out in 27 days. That's almost a month before I need to pay.It urges me to "Renew now to extend your protection period."Why?Do the marketing people think that subscribers are stupid enough to give them money a month before it's due?I don't mind a gentle reminder, say a week before payment is due.But this rather juvenile and thoroughly obvious attempt to scare me into paying early is, frankly, plain irritating.Just stop it.Everybody agree?
Discover Admin Recent Logins?
This should be simple: we run a large multi-site network with a number of admins.I need to see the status of our Admins:Name and email, 2FA status, admin type (all on current console) Most recent login date Any login failure info you can provideI can’t see ANY way to discover which admins haven’t logged in. Not in the old or new console, not in API reporting. :(How to solve it?
How to prevent users exceeding the number of End Point Seats assigned
We are having an issue with the Business Webroot where users are able to install more Entities than the assigned number of End Point Seats.This is causing issues with us, as we are getting billed for these additional Entities, and do not seem to have any control as to warn users, or stop them doing this.I have raised this in the past, but no solution was provided, other than to get an alert, and then sort out this issue manually.We are finding management of this is requiring more time resource overhead than what is worth reselling the Webroot product for.We simply seek to block sites being able to install and license Entities over and above the assigned number of End Point Seats allocated to the Site.Is there a way to achieve blocking Sites adding more Entities than the assigned number of End Point Seats?
What Webroot functions are there>
Frequently when Webroot does a scan on its own initiative (at least I think it’s a scan), I’m told there may be a memory leak, attributed, I believe, to Chrome. I just did a scan right after re-booting, and did not receive notification of a memory leak. But is scan the only function I should try? I seem to remember that there are other processes I could run. Are there? What else should I try? Thanks for your help.
SAT Sample Curriculum
I recall a while back Webroot had some sample curriculum or a training path for the SAT videos, but can’t for the life of me find that page now. It basically had a suggested order to watch the videos so people got a good overview of cybersecurity. Does anyone know where to find that? Thanks!
Webroot Endpoint Protection - unblock site for all users
Hi,We have a small network of ~50 users all on the same webroot account. I am doing some email safety training and one of the tasks included in Microsoft Defender is a phishing simulation. It sends an email to all users, simulating a typical phishing scam. It logs details of all users who click through and share their credentials on the fake site. When I ran a test to my user, it looks like webroot is blocking the site as suspicious. Our current configuration does not provide users with the option to override this. the root says...low ram avalable.....windows will not recognize the ram or the processor in system v
hello and the root has been a great security program,,,not sure my problem is root related,,,root says low ram,,,i has 16 gig 4sticks of 4gig,,, 2. windows wont recognize the processor or the ram in system view where it tells about what you have. any help would be greatly appreciated ,,,thanks
Can my Browser Settings Block My Ability to Post in One Particular Forum?
There is a forum on the Web where I yearn to post. For six months, when I attempt it I receive the following: ________________, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. I use Firefox, Edge, and Chrome browsers; all three receive the same error message. Eight months ago I was able to post in the forum. Others are posting. The site is up and running. I’m in contact with the site admin. Can it be Webroot?
How long does it take for Webroot to uninstall after sending the uninstall command?
I use webroot to centrally manage devices for out clients. Our policy is set to poll every 15 minutes. I’ve sent the command to the device that I want to uninstall it on, the command log shows delivered, but the program isn’t uninstalling. I’ve reset the device too and tried to refresh config on it but still webroot remains. How long does it take for the webroot client to act on the commands it receives? How can i force this to unistall?
Is DNS Protection supported on macOS?
Hi, I tried to enable DNS protection for a macOS device (v10.15.3 Catalina). I noticed there is only a Windows icon on “Install DNS Protection” settings. Does this mean DNS protection is not yet supported on macOS? I checked the docs but couldn’t find anything about this. Is there a way to manually install the DNS protection agent if it is not possible via the policy settings? Thanks for any help.
