The green check marks next to results in Google search has stopped working in Chrome. They show up fine in Bing search using Chrome. They work fine in Firefox. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the extension from the Chrome store. Any suggestion on getting them back in Google search? Thank you. Lisa
Hi everyone! Just encountered a weird situation on an Windows XP machine! Over a sudden - the Webroot service stopped running (WSR)! Wonder what could have caused that? Meantime will do other scans using HitmanPro, Malwarebytes anti-rootkit and so forth to see what these packages find!
Hello, I just noticed that my disk usage was at 100% right after installing webroot, I troubleshooted for a while not suspecting webroot, but when i ran out of options I disabled webroot and my disk usage instantly dropped from 100% to 5%. I would really like to use this product, but this issue I'm having is making that impossible. I would appreciate any advice and I apologize if this is in the incorrect section. Thank you!
I tried to submit this via a support ticket but it doesn't allow me to enter my password. I uploaded one of the files, spriter.exe, to virustotal.com and it is only hitting on webroot so I'm thinking false positives. This article has been reviewed and updated on February 28th, 2020 by APruneau. Question How many computers can I protect? How do I protect additional computers? Answer Webroot security software is available with several types of licenses that allow you to install it on up to five computers. If your license is for only one computer, then you cannot install it on additional computers. Click here to view and upgrade our different license options. If you purchased the Webroot security software online: you should have received an email from Webroot with download instructions. This email indicates if you purchased a 1-User Pack (license for one computer), a 3-User Pack (license for three computers), or a 5-User Pack (license for five computers). If you purchased the Webroot security software from a store, the product packaging shows the number of licenses on bottom, front of the box. The box shows either "5 User," "3 User," or "1 User." If you are currently using Webroot SecureAnywhere

I went in to the GSM console 3 days ago and whitelisted several a couple for a site yet when I look at Webroot on one of those endpoints nothing shows up under Block/Allow files. It is all done via the GSM because when I try and and "allow" files on the endpoint it says I can't and that they must be added via the console. So.... what am I doing wrong?
I need to remotely uninstall Webroot SecureAnywhere from 135 devices on a domain. I do have the ability to do this via a RMM so if there are any scripts or software that can accomplish this with silent or no reboot switches that would be great. Thank you!
Question
When I try to log in with my email address, password, and keycode its giving me an error saying "Login failed. The email or password you entered is incorrect." What do I do now?
Answer

Is the Device Online?
If Webroot cannot connect to the internet at all when entering your username and password, it may misinterpret the lack of connectivity as an indication that your username or password is incorrect. Please open a browser and go to a new page to see if you have internet connectivity. If not, please troubleshoot your device's internet connectivity issue first. Webroot cannot reach out to our servers if your device cannot connect to the internet.

Pre-Filled Email Address
The number one cause for this issue is that the OS pre-fills the Google Account email address, but the user's email is a different email address. For example, on the phone, I might be logged in as firstname.lastname@example.org, but my Webroot acco
My dad has Webroot on his PC, but he decided he no longer wanted it. He uninstalled it, but continued to get popups about the software. He has also tried:Removing the software from his registry files based on instructions from a forum post Removing other traces of the software manually from his computer Getting help from Geeksquad who tried helping for 3+ hours to no avail This morning, not only is Webroot not yet gone, it ran a scan on his computer.Could someone point me to a thorough uninstallation guide to remove every trace of the program? Or is there an easier way to do it in one shot?
installed Webroot on window surface pro with windows 10. after download and a lot of mucking around finally got a scan to happen. i want to go into webroot and configure setting for scans however i keep getting message to contact system administrator for access to user interface. so far not a good start or impression with Webroot. follow all the instructions, only to come up against hurdles and the need to post for help when it should be a simple out of the box install. will be interesting when licence renewal is due for my 4 devices, i will have to rethink decision to go with this application.
I recently received a keycode to update my expired Webroot but everything I have done to get it up and working isn’t. I uninstalled the application, saved the keycode and attempted to reinstall. I get the application into my Mac but when I attempt to click on it to open, the top left hand side shows the application name but it does not show anything else on the top toolbar. It also does not go any further than that, no matter how many times I click it to open. No matter how many times I uninstall and attempt to reinstall, it keeps getting stuck on that step. I can’t even attempt to put in the new keycode to finish installation. I’m looking to see what other options are available.
Hello. I am a long-time Webroot user and lover, and am surprised to find myself in this failure situation. I need your help please. Below are the actions I took:Logged into the Webroot Console and downloaded the wsamac.dmg for Mac. Opened that .dmg, then a small Webroot SecureAnywhere window was presented containing a green W icon in the middle. Double-clicked that Webroot icon in that small window, then received a system (OS) window stating, “Webroot SecureAnywhere” is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?” Clicked the Open button, then that system window disappeared, and the Green Webroot icon resides in my Tray at the bottom of the
