My WRLog in the WRData folder is proof. I have 307.8 BILLION, no lie, BILLION system events since install and the number doesn't stop going up at and extremely high rate of speed. This is a possible compromised AV and vulnerability. Please work with me so that we can have this patched up for me and everyone else soon. Thank you, Jay
Please some wonderful person slide me some Intel on how to get the unlock key/code for a phone that recently had its sim taken out only to be replaced and now this customer is locked out. He does not remember his code to unlock his device and is seriously harassing me to figure it out for him. I would install WR on my device but I dont think that would help too much. Somebody PLEASE HELP I don't like him when he gets like this. Thanks a million. Melody.
Hello, I have recently downloaded the secureanywhere app for my android, and when I set up the account online and tried to log in with my phone, it says "your user credentials are not associated with this secureanywhere complete keycode. Make sure you've created this user on http//my.webrootanywhere.com and try again." I have aleady done this, and it says my phone is protected, but I cant log in on my phone...what can I do?
Running SecureAnywhere Mobile Premier on Droid 2. Last few days, when I begin a scan, it does fine until it gets to the SD card - then it just ist there and does nothing - except drain the battery! Just let it run overnight - same thing - it didn't move. Would reinstall fix or is there a better solution?
Question 1: I notice that some secure sights, e.g. my bank, have a login for name then another page for password and once entered the Chrome turns green with lock. Other sights with HTTPS to not turn green. Can someone please explain this to me. Question 2: I am in a big fight with my ISP. I have written my state corporation commission and the FCC and the Better Bidness Buttholes about them. I have sent my ISP copies of these complaints to my ISP. Now I think my ISP is monitoring me or my keystrokes cuz funny things are happening. Now all of a sudden when I'm at a government sight, the screen starts jumping and skanking all around. It reminds me of the old jitter bug that was a spyware or virus thing a year or 3 ago. Webroot does not pick anything up, but I use its Clean UP feature, and the Internet Options Delete, and my old Tracks Eraser to dump off all my cookies, log files, and other miscellaneous crap. Is there any way to tell if my actual ISP is monitoring my traffic
Installed free mobil app - created account - can login fine from phone browser. As the subject reads I am new and I need some help. I have 2 laptops. One for me and one for my wife. We have 2 different andriod phones as well. After I created my webroot account I did create a user with my wifes name an email adress and I gave access to everything. Admin for all. As I understand we are both connected to the same account but we can log in through different email adresses. When I log in via my email adress I cant see that there is more than 1 computer protected and 1 smartphone connected. And when I log in via my wifes email adress I can only se that here computer and her phone is protected. Why is it like this? Shouldnt I be able to see that there is 2 computers and 2 phones connected to my account when I am admin? How is the backup working then? We have tried to share folders by logging in to the backup module to the other parts email adress from eachothers laptops. We can se the shared folder but it does not sync between us. I am kind of lost her. I want
Just purchased Webroot Secure Anywhere with Password Manager. I am having a problem logging into my Secure Anywhere account via the IE or Firefox toolbar icon. Keeps telling me that it does not recognise the email acount I used - even though it is the same account I used to set up the account. Does not matter which browser I use. Can anyone help?
I do not care about the WR toolbar, but am I protected using Chrome when I am visiting sites? I am using the current version, 22.0.1229.94 m, but see no signs of WebRoot as an extension, or in blocking any sites I have visited, although I generally only visit the big name sites like MS.com for example. If using Chrome is a liability, then this should have been more clearly stated when I purchased the product. I use Chrome 99% of the time.
i bought a secure anywhere complete for 3 pcs and its for android phone as well so i installed it for my laptop and know i want to do it for my android phone an icant it keeps saying and error messege credentials are not associated with this secure anywhere complete
Hi, one of your customers told me that our website, http://www.sur-la-toile.com was blocked by Webroot® SecureAnywhere. It is a french portal about science and technology, with a blog and a forum. About 2M visitors monthly. Can you please tell us where the problem comes from, if there is a real security issue we can fix, or check if it might be a false positive ? Thanks a lot. Benoit Fries
first i scan local drive then it shows sudden attack game as malware and i didnt remove it because i think is false positive.then i cant open this game at all! i think webroot has blocked it! i also put this game to allow not monitor or protect.i think i want to change antivirus if cant fix this problem
I had to do a factory reset on my phone. When I redownloaded Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete and tried to login I got this error message: "Login failed. The email or password you entered is incorrect." I am using the same email and password that I use to login to mywebroot on my PC. Any ideas on why it won't work and what I need to do? Thanks. I have checked out the post in knowledge base regarding this issue and still have no luck. I've reset my password, made sure capslock wasn't on, my device isn't rooted, etc.
Hey guys, I need some help. I have been trying to fix this problem for months, off and on. This evening I tried yet again for several hours, including the time spent installing and uninstalling Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete, v. 184.108.40.206, on my PC, and then trying to get the SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete Android App to run on my HTC Incredible. The PC software always installs and runs correctly, but the mobile app won't accept my correct info for email and password on the initial registration screen. Specifically, it responds "Login failed. The email or password you entered is incorrect." I have checked and re-entered these numerous times, always with the same error message response. I have verified that the email and password I'm using on that app registration screen will in fact successfully log me into the "my.webrootanywhere.com" website on my PC. BTW, when I'm on there, I can see several consoles — though I'm not sure what is meant by 'co
I just downloaded Webroot on my son's Kindle Fire. We are trying to use it like a remote alarm clock, so I need to be able to get it to scream. When I log into the website and go to the page to make it scream, I get an error of "We were unable to contact your device at this time. Your device will receive the "scream" request the next time it checks in. Please note that your device must be online to check in and receive the command." It is connected to our Wifi so I don't understand why it won't work. Any ideas? Thank you
I use the secure anywhere product and have my pantach burst as my mobile device. i am thinking about doing the free upgrade to android 4.0 and am wondering what i might need to do to ensure continued use of secure anywhere. i really like the product and want to make sure nothing gets messed up. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks
After an un-attended scan, ver# 220.127.116.11 on Windows XP Pro SP3, detected "c:program fileswinrarwinrar v3.41 final trial to full by great elmo!!.exe" and a subsequent scan found "c:windowssystem32cmdlineext03.dll". First file was cleaned but the second I searched and suspect this may be a false positive. I removed the winrar exe positive as I never use it anyway, but still suspect a false positive. Malwarebytes and AVG have not tugged at these files ever. Just finished scans with these other two protectors came up clean, zero infections or malware. Any conformation or clarification is appreciated.
