Outdated Understanding of Cybercrime is Risky for Financial Markets Today, CityWire Global reported that global financial markets are under a growing threat of cybercrime, according to the latest report from the International Orgnaization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). ‘Reliance on an out-dated understanding of what cyber-crime entails, a perception of safety due to containment of past cyber-attacks, or assumptions around the limited capabilities of cyber-criminals today–may mean we end up “bringing a knife to a gun fight” in the future,’ said the report’s author Rohini Tendulkar. This data seems to be in line with the thoughts of many other analysts. Hello, I'm trying to find out if it's necessary to create a rule to permit traffic on TCP Port 25 from a server on our domain to our main Exchange mail server for the the purpose of sending out email outside of our domain (in this case to customers and suppliers from our billing systems). I'm well aware of the risks of creating open relay's on mail platforms and have taken steps to secure the Exchange server, but I still can get the message to route from the billing system to the Exchaneg Server, has anyone got any experiance if this is necessary with Webroot and if so what the rule would look like. Any contributions would be welcome :D
Windows 7 Pro, WebRoot Endpoint (126.96.36.199) When I first visited this website and tried to download their software, I could tell that WebRoot flashed (very briefly) something in the top-left corner of the screen and then the site's download page reappeared and no download was performed. What I did:

Since I couldn't tell what WebRoot was trying to say to me... I tried the download again...
This time the firefox window went blank and the WebRoot Warning popup appeared in the upper left corner of the browser window.
Choosing CLOSE of course left me without the download, which I suppose is the correct thing until their site is declared clean.
By the way, attempts to start other programs, open the start menu, use any context menus were blocked... the context menus would flash up briefly and then disappear. But the links within the browser page still worked!
By closing the browser and returning to the website, I was able to perform
I started and logged into RoboForm. I clicked on RoboForm Logins and then Print List (I did not see a Full URL Checkbox) I pressed the save button and saved the resulting HTML file to my hard drive I opened the saved file using Notepad I clicked on Select All I clicked on Copy I then went to the Webroot "Text Box". The cursor was blinking in the text box. but paste does not work.. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, Tom Grove

Recently installed the SecureAnywhere Compete on my Android phone and when I attempted to login with my credentials i received the following error " Your user credentials are not associated with this SecureAnywhere Complete keycode. Make sure you've created this user on http://my.webrootanywhere.com and try again" inspite of the user credentials being created and associated with the keycode i still keep getting the same error message. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Dear Expert, I am a business customer for Webroot Security anywhere. Looking for an additional solution to apply company security disclaimer notice for the end user once they login to the computer. I would like to see the feedback from your end, what can be done to implement. Thanks
Hello, I have the webroot secure anywhere app & I've upgraded it using one of my licenses that I had purchased, after restarting my phone I was logged out of webroot & when I logged back in, only the free version was active, if I retype my product key to activate my secure anywhere plus, will it use up another licence?
Hacking is rife in CS:GO and even pro players are being banned, so how do we stop it? 25 November 2014 By Chris Higgins Over the weekend, Valve had a little autumnal clearout of their suspected Counter-Strike: Global Offensive cheater list. In among the script kiddies and third accounts being handed Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) bans were some familiar names to those who follow pro CS:GO. None other than Titan’s Hovik “KQLY” Tovmassian and Epsilon’s Gordon “SF” Giry were banned, just hours before their teams were set to fly out to DreamHack Winter in Sweden, forcing both the tournament to drop the teams and the teams to drop the players. The fallout has been messy, and much like last month’s Dota match-fixing revelations, the effects echo
Hi All, Thanks in advance for your time in reading and responding to this query. Just wondering if there is a way to account for daylight savings adjustment in time zone settings under the user account settings within the SecureAnywhere online console? I am in Sydney Australia and the only time option I get is EST (more accurately AEST - Australian Eastern Standard Time, which is UTC+10), however at the time of writing this post, it is currently AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time, which is UTC+11). As a result, all the logs, reports and events are all 1 hour out. I can not seem to work out how to manually perform a UTC adjustment. I appreciate that I am able to set the location differently, though this is not a suitable solution. Look forward to your thoughts.
Hello Everyone, I'm new to the community and have a question regarding virus infections and anti virus software. I had AVG as my anti-virus and during a scan it found that there were over 40 infections so I purchased secure everywhere and it ran a scan and found no infections whatsoever. Is there some difference between the two systems that one dectects objects as an infection while the other doesn't? Why such a dicrepancy? I have to say I'm a little confused. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Joe
