I've just had a somewhat frustrating encounter with Support. First off, the guy didn't know what Process Explorer is. Secondly, he told me it shouldn't be on my Desktop. Thirdly, he said it should already be "in Windows folder where the explorer is running." He then asked me why I "downloaded those exe from different places?" After submitting a ticket last night, I was given a link to download wsalogs, which I ran. After uploading the necessary files, it opened a Technical Support website (as it informed me it would) but it seems to have created a new account for me. I've also received an email with logon information, with a different password from what I normally use. So, do I now use this new password going forward, or is this a one-off for the wsalogs ticket?

Just reformatted my computer and when I installed Spysweeper with Antivirus, it told me there was an upgrade available. I upgraded, and now it looks like two separate programs are running: Webroot SecureAnywhere, and Webroot AntiVirus with Spy Sweeper. Is this normal?
Hello, Just updated Opera to the latest build 12.00 and have noticed that WSA blocks Java's plugin (having Java SE 7 update 5). There is no other solution than to move Opera from Protected to Allow. Today, before update to Opera 12.00, no problems experienced, i.e. Opera set to Protected and Java plugins worked correctly. However WSA doesn't block Java in IE9 even if IE is set to Protected. It looks like that this issue is somehow related to today's release of new Opera 12. Thanks & regards, pegas [b]EDIT: have noticed that not only Java plugins are being blocked but also Flash Player plugins. It seems that WSA blocks all plugins across my Opera unless Opera is set Allow.[/b]
Ok, I've followed all the instructions to download both apps to my iOS device, and I can log on successfully. But, when I open the homepage to my account, under "Mobile Devices", it shows "0" devices protected. Do I need to still do something for my mobile devices to show up? Thank you!
I have no problem signing in at my. webroot.... site. My problem is when I go to my bank's sign in page or any page that I sign in at Webroot asks me if I want to manage passwords for the site and of course I click on it. I am asked through a pop-up which has my email address already filled in then I am to put the password in. I do and it comes back as "Invalid Password. I try several times and even though I am already signed in with the same password I am being asked to fill in with it comes back every time as Invalid. Any Ideas folks? Thank You, Perry
(1) I have an ISP that limits my monthly usage to 7.5 GB. What does WSA AV add to my usage per month, for my 3 PCs? (2) Excluding cloud-based file backup, what can I expect the upgrade versions to require per month? (3) If I upgrade to Complete, will adding my smartphone be like adding a 4th computer? (4) Am I correct in assuming that badwidth required to mainatin my phone apply against the phone's data plan? Thanks, TC
hi iv'e encounterd another problem since getting that threat andriod mobiletraker tryed opening webroot a few moments ago and now it keeps crashing wont let me run the app and the symbol in my over head bar has vanished.??????????????????????????????????????????????? Hi ive used webroot for a before on my pc and found it to be a very good program and had no problems and so i thought id try it on my andriod mobile and its been working great then recently i got the premier version and my login home page tells me my device has threats and i tryed a scan on my device and its came back clean ...? please help .
Hi Folks I have two computers protected with WSA Essentials. In the My Account list they are both shown but one computer shows the results of the last scan, the other infers that the computer has never been scanned (which it has). Any ideas? Thanks John *edit for useful subject line - admin
Hi, my name is John Deth. I'm a first time poster here. Anyway, I've been using Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile for the past seven months and am extremely satisfied with it (it runs faster, more efficiently and gives me fewer headaches than Netqin), but lately I've noticed a popup appearing on my mobile browser called "Mo.gifts.org" that tries to shut off the site I'm on and take me directly to their site. There's no way to even go to a new window, the only ways to escape are to either click OK on the popup or push the Home button, then go to Settings, then force close and clear the Browser. I should point out that I don't even go to any suspicious sites, these popups came up when I was on perfectly safe sites, namely ESPN.com. What I'm wondering is this: Is Webroot aware of this problem and are they planning to take action to stop this potential threat? **edit for useful subject line -admin

I'm currently running trial version 220.127.116.11 and today had my download of OpenOffice 3.4 stopped (via Firefox download). It's something I've been having troubles with these last few days where downloads or page loading in Firefox is being reset, initially I pinned the blame on my generic router but I can see now in the threat log it was Webroot that caused this latest occurrence. Unfortunately repeated attempts to reproduce the issue are seeing the download continue just fine. I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of this annoying virus or whatever it's referred to as, but scanning my system does no good. HELP!!!! I'm desperate. It hijacks my browser whenever it feels like it, but not everytime and it isn't contained to just IE or Chrome, it's whatever browser I use. Then it has these annoying pop up windows on every single page. I'm in school online and I'm about ready to throw my laptop in the pool. Short of reformatting my hard drive which I DO NOT want to do I'm not sure of the next step. Any suggestions!!!! Thanks in advance!!!!
Using a Droid X on Android 2.3.3, running no other AVs I'm getting the error that "Login failed. the email or password is incorrect" I have the right email address in (not the default[b]@gmail[/b]) and i've typed the password with the swype keyboard, the default keyboard, and copy/paste from a notepad app. I have submitted a ticket for this, but I thought I'd check with the forums to see if there was a quicker way to get this up and running. Hello: There is no 'Pause' button on a manually-started scan, only 'Cancel'. Is that right? How does a user pause a currently-executing scan? WRSA.exe is using 99% CPU.. Attempts to lower task prioritiy from 'Normal' with Task Manager are blocked, "Access is denied'. I was 25 hours into this scan, and was not happy to have to cancel it to recover use of my workstation. -- Roy Zider Windows SP SP3 Latest version of WRSA (but no 'Help | About' tab to identify version)
