System Optimizer cleaning results
I would like to be able to see the results of System Optimizer on all the PCs. It would be nice if there was a report for that but I don't see one. How do I view how much data System Optimizer cleaned to show my clients how much storage space Webroot is helping them free?
Webroot blocking WMIADAP.EXE.
Hi Guys, Just wanted to know if anyone experienced WR blocking this file. It gave me two minutes to decide and I got some mixed answers while looking online in general so I didn't get to respond whether to allow it or block it. Oddly enough when I looked into the quarantine/block files, it wasn't there. Thanks in advance.
Unable to download images using SecureWeb browser
I am using Webroot's browser SecureWeb on my Android phone. If I want to download an image I hold my finger on the image and a "Download image" prompt is displayed. I then get an icon in my notifications on top that looks like a cloud with says Download failed. I do not get this issue using the Android browser nor with Chrome. Is there a setting I can change to allow me to download images using SecureWeb?

What protection does Windows firewall offer for home network?
I have a home network with one Win 7, one Win 8.1, and two Win 10 laptops. Windows firewall is turned on in all of them. Two laptops have Webroot installed, the others a free anitvirus program. If one of the computers gets infected with a virus, does Windows firewall protect the other computers from being infected?

Webroot Announces Thirteenth Consecutive Quarter of Double-Digit Business Growth
Local Currency Payment & Renewal vs. New Keycode
Payment with Local Currency: When I clicked the “Renew now” button within Webroot SecureAnywhere, it took me to the page called “Easy One-Page Checkout.” Given that there was nothing on the page to identify the currency of the renewal price shown, I assumed that it was my local Australian dollar currency (AUD). However, if this page is showing US dollar currency (USD), instead of local AUD it would be misleading because I couldn’t find any link on this page (Webroot’s “Easy One-Page Checkout”) allowing me to quickly access or change it to my local currency. Webroot neglects to explain this via its prompts and links through the renewal steps within the program. My other option to renew my subscription (by bypassing the “Renew now” button) is to go to “www.Webroot.com” which automatically takes me to https://www.webroot.com/gb/en (not the AU site), and subsequently to [url=https://www.webroot.com/gb/en/cart?
High GPU use disables Webroot Process Control
Webroot's Process control is still (After how many years now?) horrid with graphics handling, however high GPU use renders it completely unusable. Under normal situations, I expect that I should be able to select a running process that is being monitored and set it to allowed, especially if it's a patched game. However if the GPU is being pushed to 100%, the Process Control is incapable of displaying both more than one row every three seconds as well as more than five rows total, thus rendering it impossible to whitelist the game via that method. Further testing along this line came to several interesting results as well. Webroot catches pre-compiled cryptominers as malware, doesn't catch custom-compiled ones, but crashes all of them anyway even when they are manually whitelisted. Anyway, how can we best ensure that there is a bug recorded for high GPU use demolishing the Process Control?

Asked to Surrender Access to the Justice System to Remain a Webroot Customer?!
This morning as I logged on I received a message from Webroot requesting I acknowledge I had read the change in user terms. I read the terms. I discovered Webroot is now requesting us to surrender our rights to use of the justice system (class actions) in order to continue to use their products. I find this offensive. Further, when I elected the 'Choose Later' option, my firewall, realtime shield, and web shields were automatically turned off by Webroot. Hmmmm...that doesn't seem like action someone who really cared about my online security would take. Does anyone else see this as a bullying tactic by another American corporation who has forgotten the old adage, 'the customer is always right'?
A reply from WebRoot support was made to a ticket I submitted asking how to apply DNS Filtering policies to sites/devices. The answer, in a nutshell, is that there is no applying DNS Filtering policies to sites/devices. The Global Default DNS Filtering policy is it. That policy gets applied to ALL Sites. Even though there are two other policies by default, and new policies can easily be created, they are useless because no other DNS policy other than the Default policy can be applied to anything. Even within one site, it is likely that different devices will require different DNS filtering policies. It is astounding that this product was put into production without this most basic of capabilities. It's not like DNS Filtering is in Beta and we signed on for testing. It's not like this product was just released. The decision by WebRoot to roll out such an unfinished service brings into question the quality of the behind the scenes operations at the company. I have been wrong to assume th
Create and send automatic report to customers
I have been looking for this for a very long time now, maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but I have tried to find a way to automaticly create a monthly report of installed agents. Starfield Certificate Not Trusted
I've recently seen this problem on a second server, on totally separate networks. Webroot stops communicating with the web console. On one machine this manifested as Webroot showing the subscription was expired. On another machine the symptom was that the agent was shown with a status of 'Not Seen Recently' in the console The fix for both of these was to Install the Starfield Class 2 Certificate into the Trusted Root Certification Authority store on the machine and bingo - comms restored. As I've now seen this on a second server I'm concered this could be a wider issue. Has anyone else seen this or have further information? Webroot Chrome Extension High CPU Spikes with new Chrome v65
For reference, I detailed here: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Security-Industry-News/Chrome-Releases-Stable-Channel-Update-for-Desktop-Tuesday-March/m-p/315569/highlight/true#M40391 I am seeing a real issue when the new Chrome v65 combines with the Chrome web extension. I have opened a ticket, but I want others to be aware, as well as chime in if they are seeing the same issue. One of our HTG partners mentioned an issue, and I decided if to see if I could replicate it, and found I could. I would highly recommend not using the extension at this time based on what I have experienced.
NOT solved -- wrphreshphish.dll errors ongoing for years
I see posts indicating this problem has been solved. However, I have been a Webroot customer for many years, and I keep running into this problem of a Webroot application being unable to launch because this .dll file is supposedly "missing." Each time this happens I have used the suggested fix from Webroot. The problem with the fixes offered by Webroot is they haven't figured out a better way in all these years than uninstalling Webroot while my computer remains online during the entire process, thus leaving my computer vulnerable during the entire process. On a sidenote, when I try to get Webroot to see a problem I am having with their software, they usually try to trash-talk me on the phone, instead of just admitting there is a problem and moving to a higher level of resolution and customer satisfaction. To recap: this PhreshPhish problem has been going on for years, and it is NOT solved.
Product Update Bulletin: SecureAnywhere® Mobile Console
Mobile Protection Updates On March 15, Google will release version 66 of the Chrome browser to beta testers. They expect a public release date of April 17. We are working toward full compatibility. However, the Webroot mobile device management console is not yet supported for Chrome v.66. In the interim, we recommend you use a different browser to manage mobile devices.
Webroot Version 18.104.22.168
Hello, I have multiple questions, and assuming if someone can answer all my questions: 1. For resolving the Windows 10 1709 issue where mutliple applications was getting crashed, the webroot version 22.214.171.124 was released, however, currently when I tried installing the webroot on one machine, the new version i.e. 126.96.36.199 got installed, so will this new version have the fixes of 188.8.131.52? 2. Previously, I have checked and found that 184.108.40.206 was going to resolve the issue with the Meltdown and Spectre Patches registry issue (Automatically adding the registry), so was just curious to know that will the new version i.e. 220.127.116.11 resolves that issue of adding the registry automatically, etc. 3. Is 18.104.22.168 the latest version and is globally released, if yes, can someone please provide me what all features this version includes? Thank you.
