"Do you want to allow the following program to make changes on your computer? I am getting the UAC prompt each time I start/boot up my desktop PC. This occurs after the 5/13/2020 Windows 10 automatic update, which was KB4556799. Before that Win 10 update, there was no UAC prompt upon PC start up. Something has changed. Please advise how to make it authorized at PC boot up, and are other people encountering this issue since that Win 10 patch? Webroot SecureAnywhere anti-virus V126.96.36.199 on a Windows 10 v1903 Home Premium desktop PC.
Jusrt tried installing the new Web app you wanted me too. Now I can’t uninstall the secure anywhere app; I can NO LONGER login with my password & am I supposed to do this on all my devices as so far my phone & chromebook are screwed up!!? Please advise & solve or refund my $$. A company is only as good as their support - so far it has been a nightmare. An hour looking for answers that should have been a breeze. After uninstalling WSA, the core and sky services persist, causing problems with other software. Because they are placed as system files, they resist normal and reasonable means to remove them. They also resist removal by people with some technical skill. And other AV programs. And Webroot’s own cleanup executables. I would think that software that cannot be uninstalled by the computer owner with reasonable effort would qualify as malicious. Of course, sending in a support ticket has gotten zero response. I approach an hour waiting for someone to pick up the phone.
As per topic I have lots of expired keys - how to delete them?Also I am sure I could just manually add keys here? Can’t seem to do that either….As per topic - how to do this? I can switch between consoles but not delete unused / expired?
Hi,I have many part-time employees that do not have a company AD account and email address as their job functions do not require it. What is the best way to get them into a Campaign since public emails are not supported? I’m not going to create 100+ email accounts (and train those employees on how to use/access company email) simply for training modules.Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I keep getting the screen saying “account activation needed” I signin and that works, it asks for my security code and then it logs me out and logs me back in. I am stuck in a loop and cannot scan my computer for virused. Please help. I sent a ticket to customer support and got a generic reply with no real answers. Does anyone know what to do?

Hello! I have just bought a two year renewal for my Webroot Secureanwhere but the android app is not avaliable on Google Play in Sweden anymore!? Have also tried to get in in Hungary, Slovakia, Czechia and Germany but the app it´s simply not avalible there either?? Have tried to get help from the support but they simply can´t or don´t know why if and when the app will be avaliable again in Europe as before!?Can anyone please help me with a list of contries in Europe where I can download the app since I´m lost without the app!Best regards,Lars M.
Support refuses to deal with the issue.Webroot ignores the whitelist for NiceHash QuickMiner and it constantly kills the process and prevents installation even though it’s thoroughly whitelisted.What’s the point of a whitelist that gets ignored because they want to punish casual crypto mining?
Every day it asks me to sign up for an account. I already have an account, but I can’t access it because the “forgot password” link does not work.. Also every day Windows asks me how I want to open this file, but it does not tell me what file, so I told it to use a text editor. It opened a file named program, which appeared to be an exe file. Windows complains about a file named program, which it says may keep some applications from working correctly. Clearly Webroot is AFU. Should I cancel my subscription and try a different product? I emailed support but got no response.

As far as I can tell there have been 6 requests for a Linux version of Webroot SecureAnywhere posted in Ideas Exchange but there is no hint of anything being developed along these lines. Are we to take it that this is just not on the radar? There seems at the moment to be only one other product which offers realtime protection for (in my case) Ubuntu - ESET - and that requires some fiddling and contortions to get it working with the latest systemd which appeared in Ubuntu 15.04. I would rather be using the same AV product across all our household machines - Windows and Linux. Is any Linux development likely to happen - or does it look completely non-viable from a commercial perspective?
Hi all,The system analyse from Webroot Secure Anywhere reports f.e. a handle-leak(explorer.exe) with a system analyse from tools.Sometimes it occurs only while running a program. Running Microsoft Edge and Facebook together and closing these a scan also results in this message. After restarting the computer this is solved. How to improve my system? Hi! I'm having an issue with Webroot where it seems to be turning itself off and on automatically.And all scans seem to be frozen or disabled, where it'll just say "0 files scanned" and processes "not scanned". The time elapses fine and continues changing as expected (1 second, 49 seconds, etc.) but nothing else changes during scanning.Last scan time and duration, on the other hand, keeps changing. It alternates between "last scan 1 day, 22 hours ago" with 4m 34s and "last scan 2 hours ago" with 2m34s duration.It only changes when I try to start a new scan or every few minutes, but keeps alternating between those two specific timestamps. (There is a third variation that now says it was last scanned <5 minutes ago, but still has the 2m34s length and still reverts to the other two)The number of total scans also keeps changing, from 1 to 3. No longer shows the 200+ scans.Next scan part of the menu alters between "Not scheduled" to "20 hours". I've also seen the phishing shield turn its
This is insane. I got an email with automatic payment for renewal processed, keycode, and instructions.I tried logging in via the email My Account link. I also tried the My Account link in Webroot itself. They don’t work. Tells me incorrect password. Nonsense. I tried “forgot password.” It says look in your email. Nothing is sent, not even to spam folder. I’m absolutely sure of my credentials. They’re saved offline. I can’t reach anyone through the now ubiquitous, stupid, irrelevant thousand options computerized front end answering service. This is my second attempt to post in the community. The posts don’t get processed. I am on Chrome and I turned off all my browser extensions. As you must know, when a post doesn’t process and you try again for whatever reason the page gets wiped out.
I have a 5-seat SecureAnyware Complete license. I loaded SecureAnywhere Complete on a new, replacement computer. When I tried to login to my Webroot account, I provided my email address and password. Then it asked me for an AUTHENTICATION CODE, NOT letters from my security code , an AUTHENTICATION CODE. Where and how do I get an AUTHENTICATION CODE?
