Hello! New Webroot SecureAnywhere user here. I recently started at a company that uses this software however I have no experience with it. Dumb question, but we are troubleshooting some software issues on a PC that has Webroot SecureAnywhere installed on it. I have access to the Admin console but am unable to disable the software locally. How do I disable this software on a single PC for testing purposes?
Hi All Haviing a very strange issue with some of our users when performing a search on www.google.com. When searching, users are randomly getting the following error message. "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot" We dont think this is an issue with our network as when we switch off webroot we no longer get the error message. Anyone have any idea? Go easy on me i am a noob. James.
I have suspicious notifications popping up from "www.mp3juices.cc" I think this began when I was hunting some sound clips for a film project and must have downloaded something sketchy unawares. OOPS. Now I'm getting notifications with scantily clad women and also notes that say "System infected! Click here to clean up!" in various versions. Webroot has done its scan and finds nothing. However, it's obvious there is malware. What can I do? Do I need a different software to find this?
Is it safe to download free Wondershare video converter software? Viruses? Downsides? I don't know how to know if any particular free sw is safe. Is there a way to download and use Webroot as I do so to ensure contained?

I'm trying to uninstall webroot and reinstall it on my mac. I went to finder and deleted the app but it won't go away. I tried to reboot into safe mode but it hung. Hi, When I click refresh configuration, I get: an active internet connection is required to check for update. When I look in the secure anywhere portal, I can see that my system was seen last in december. When I create a ticket, support asks me to run wsalogs.exe, which fails uploading the resulting file to the ftp server .. because I have no internet connection When I mail the file .. the file is too big for the mail server. I'm getting a bit annoyed by all this My system is almost always connected to the internet. IE, Firefox, Chrome .. and a bunch of other applications that need the internet are all working fine. I cannot uninstall webroot, it needs to be done in the SecureAnywhere portal, but it doesn't see my system anymore. Running wrsa -uninstall, tells me "SecuryAnywhere is currently managed by the Web Console and all changes need to be applied centrally. Please refer to the SecureAnywhere documentation for further inform
Webroots ironically named "anti"virus software has messed up my computer so bad that I just need to get rid of it. Everything started freezing and crashing the day I downloaded it; now that it is uninstalled the freezing and crashing is gone (literally the second I uninstalled it) but it won't let me install any other antivirus software (like AVG). Clearly the software has embedded a file somewhere that is disabling my ability to download other antivirus software. Where is this file and how do I remove it?
