Currently, when using the Webroot DNS Agent inside an office where Bypass is configured, there is no way for the DNS Agent to know when there is a problem with the internal DNS server. If the internal DNS server goes down, the Agent continues to send all traffic to it, leaving the device offline. It would be helpful if the DNS Agent would know when it isn’t getting correct DNS responses from the internal server, and instead pass all requests outside to Webroot’s DNS Servers instead. This would function the same way as adding additional DNS servers to the DHCP DNS Server options. Bonus points to be able to manually configure these additional DNS server options like we do in DHCP.
