Petrovic answered last time, and was correct....about retrieving lost e-mail from gmail....thank you again.
The sender of the e-mail I'm looking for may have sent it to an old hotmail account....I really need this.

QUESTION; Does anyone know how to retrieve e-mail from hotmail that was sent to the trash ( more than 30 days ago) but not deleted forever.
See my post asking about gmail....yesterday.....thank you to all.

Unfortunately, hotmail only keeps the deleted emails for up to 30 days, and then they purge them after that to free up space on their servers. It won't be likely that they still have your emails from that far back. They might have the ones that were deleted from the past 30 days. 
In order to see if they will restore these emails, you will need to contact hotmail support
