Hi. I'm Jaramya. Live in Dallas. Am reasonably good on the pc with Microsoft office software but new to tablets. Started off with Amazon Fire 8 and the learning curve is driving me nuts. I am a "when all else fails, read the directions" kind of person . I want to just jump right in and do what I know I should be able to do when I can't, I fall back to my pc, which makes my learning that much longer? .Just sayin' Happy to be part of this community.

I also wanted to mention that our Techie forum is a place where you can get help from users for things like your Amazon Fire, or anything tech-related in General.

Here's to a warm welcome once again and don't ever by shy to ask any question, our Users are super great at being not only helpful but super patient as well! :robotvery-happy:

Thanks so much for your suggestion to join the tech forum.I actually should have posted the reason I got webroot. I have had my identity  stolen and my bank accounts hacked. Even had someone try to file a tax return for a refund for my 2016 taxes. I must have a big "pick me,pick me" sign on my head for identity theft..My information was in the massages breech of Merril Lynch, Target, and Chase. My credit card has been skimmed at my local has station and my purse with all my I.D. In it stolen twice. My computer has been invaded by a virus and was shutdown by some kind of malware. Needless to say, I am somewhat paranoid about security now. I will look further in this forum to address the concern I have about turning the secure web browsing feature on when there is a warning about it having access to all my data, even credit card numbers. Yikes. I got webroots after Kim Kommando recommended it. I totally trust her to give a fair and unbiased analysis, so here I am.
