Indeed, Jasper...a great loss to the British Theatre & Film industries...he was a great thespian...one of the best.
Elephant Man was exceptional...but he was also so much more than just that...the credits are countless and memorable.

One performance that comes to mind was his portryal of Quentin Crisp in the naked civil servant.
