Apple moves to ban security app for questionable reasons

May 16, 2016 08:50 GMT  ·  By Catalin Cimpanu Apple's questionable App Store policies strike again, and this time, it's a German security researcher who saw his iOS security app banned from the App Store after Apple said it was providing "inaccurate and misleading" information.
 
The app, called System and Security Info, was removed over the weekend. The app was published last week, listed on the iOS App Store, and Stefan Esser, its developer, claims Apple removed it after a trivial bugfix update.

IMHO better safe the sorry, if there is a questionable app take it out.

Well, in my view it realy depends as to what they mean by 'questionable'...what may be questionbable to some may be quite normal to others...and to be honest one has to epect a degree of FPs from any security application...as nothing is 100% accurate all of the time. ;)
