D.gify Wins RSA Conference Innovation Sandbox 'Most Innovative Company' for New Content Protection Service

App Launch Allows Professionals to Safely Share, Track and "Self Destruct" Files After Sending Content to Android and iOS Devices

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. and SINGAPORE, July 23, 2014 /PRNewswire-
D.gify today launched the mobile version of its self-destructing, view-only content protection service for professionals to privately share their business content. D.gify's freemium service ensures that users can control, track and protect files on iOS and Android-based smartphones without concern that their private documents or photos will be copied or redistributed after they are sent. The Company also announced that it was named "Most Innovative Company" at the inaugural RSA Conference Asia Pacific & Japan 2014 Innovation Sandbox.

Files shared using D.gify cannot be forwarded, downloaded, copied, saved or uploaded elsewhere, and can be set to self-destruct in one minute to one month. D.gify's advanced content protection helps build trusted, collaborative relationships with partners and colleagues. The company's desktop version will be introduced later this year.

"D.gify is honored by RSA Innovation Sandbox judges' recognition of the real-world applicability of our platform, and the simplicity of how users can protect sensitive information with our service," said Augustine Lim, co-founder and CEO of D.gify. "Before D.gify, there were many tools for sharing files but no easy, inexpensive way for most professionals to protect and track access to information once it was sent to someone else. After downloading files a recipient was able to forward or upload them anywhere on the web. D.gify enables users to effectively share, control and protect ideas and content from wherever it is stored with the comfort that they will not go beyond the intended recipient."

When you send a file to someone else there’s always a risk that it could be copied or forwarded, even if it's intended to remain private -- as many a snapper of naked selfies has found to their cost.
There have been attempts to solve this problem in the past of course with services like Snapchat and Yahoo's Blink, that allow content to be viewed for only a short time, but none of these are aimed at business users.
That's about to change with the launch of D.gify a self-destructing, view-only content protection service to let professionals privately share their business content. Files shared using D.gify can't be forwarded, downloaded, copied, saved or uploaded elsewhere, and can be set to self-destruct in any time from one minute to one month.
