There is a new Java Update for version 8 as most should be using by now but XP users must stay with version 7 and support for XP will be gone at some point when the end of version 7 comes.

64bit OS users make sure to Download both the 64bit version as well the 32bit version and be on the look out for Unwanted Add-ons (PUA's) and uncheck them during install if offered!

New version of Java 7 if you are still using version 7 and I assume most are using version 8 now. Be sure to uncheck any unwanted add-ons (PUA's) if offered during install. Also 64bit OS users be sure to install both the 32bit & 64bit versions and in this case I would suggest to install 7u72.
